A single sentence left Grace Gordon speechless.
Grace Gordon turned her head to look at Stanhope Brown, who seemed calm and indifferent: "There's nothing wrong, just asking..."
"Men like women with long legs, thin waists and pitiful appearances, as well as capable, efficient and strong-willed women, and virtuous, gentle women. It's the same reason women like tall, handsome men, ordinary, practical and motivated men, and men who have the ability to make them happy, but who are nothing else. It's just a fact," Stanhope explained, his attitude like that of a teacher, and his tone like that of an elder educating a younger person.
His words were like a tongue twister! Grace frowned.
"What about you? What kind of woman do you like?" For some reason, Grace felt compelled to ask.
