Chapter 29: Twenty-Nine

Ash entered her house Snow, Charlie and Rose in tow. “Cal! Lexi! I’m home and I brought friends, so don’t be naked!”

A groan was heard from the kitchen and Alexandra came out wearing a large sweater, sweatpants and holding a bag of potato chips. Two dogs following her eagerly hoping for a treat. “Stop yelling.”

“Aw, sorry baby, I forgot.” Ash said walking towards Alexandra who evaded her hug attempt. “That’s no way to act in front of royalty now give your big sister a hug!”

Alexandra rolled her eyes and let Ash hug her. Ash grinned happily while her sister ate her chips in aggravation. The dogs crowding around them.

“Princess Rosalina, this is Alexandra, my stepsister. She would be jumping for joy that you’re here, but she’s suffering through puberty.”

“You’re embarrassing me.” Alexandra said her usually sweet voice in a monotone.

“Okay, well you need to go upstairs and pack about two weeks worth of clothes, savvy?”

“Why?”
