Chapter 16: Sixteen

Charlie sat with Alan as they watched Caleb, Vincent and Snow stand around Ash their weapons at the ready. It had been a month since the failed trial and Morgana was still at large, but it didn’t seem like Serena was a threat, yet. So far Ash had managed to control two of her abilities, her accelerated speed and gravity manipulation. She was currently experimenting with slowing time itself down.

Ash twirled her bo staff behind her. “Ready when you are.” She taunted.

Snow charged forward her knives at her sides. She attempted to jab at Ash who knocked her arm away with her staff prompting Snow to push forward attempting to strike Ash’s chest. Ash dodged and used her staff to sweep Snow off her feet. Ash performed a back-hand spring attempting to give herself some distance.

“A little help here!” Snow called.

“Coming up!” Vincent replied joining the fight.
