Once Elder Henry was seated, the tension eased up and everyone paid attention to the head of the table, where two blue-eyed werewolves were seated.

One, a man with hair dark as night with a face and complexion a cut above the average werewolf. His features were both exquisite and gentle enough to show the kindness behind his predatory eyes.

Seated beside him, was a similarly stunning girl with hair as white as snow. Her eyes were as soft as her childish smile, the duo pairing up to diminish her otherwise intimidating beauty.

The pair might have been the most, if not among the most powerful duo in the room.

A maid walked in with a tray of refreshments, moving through the room as she placed them on the table. Most of the hunters and werewolves present frowned at the food that was being placed before them.
