Chapter 195: Tears

His gaze burst into mine promising to watch o things we hadn't the courage to say yet.

He gazed down at his hands as he cleared his voice, he seemed on the verge of saying something very important. 

I took a deep inner breath releasing the air and the preoccupation in a long exhale. I was so nervous that I felt the urge to move my hands, and my legs just to let that nervousness leave my body. So I tapped with my long nails against my knees under the table so that he wouldn't see me as I moved my feet in the same rhythm.
