Chapter 165: Weaknesses

Just when he placed his hand on my neck and pushed me closer, my phone vibrated breaking the romanticism between us.

"I am sorry," I whispered.

I ignored the phone but when our lips touched in a kiss the phone vibrated again.

I departed from the kiss and scoffed.

I slipped out the object which ruined the atmosphere of my pocket and just like it was a twist of fate, the person bothering us was Carl texting me he wanted to talk for the last time about an important matter.

I hadn't seen nor heard from him in a long time despite he knew about Cameron and me, I wasn't surprised he would finally show up as if nothing had happened and try to get back together.

I blocked his number and then slid the phone back into my pocket.

As soon as I did that I got a bizarre feeling as if there was something more about his text. My stomach dropped and that feeling grew in my guts, what if he truly had to talk to me about something?
