"Do you know… why do you still have to live like this?" she asks with the same solemn look she had before as she looks at that man with a slightly tired expression.

It's as if she had seen what they had been through. 

My eyes then turn towards that guard observing Clementine with a slightly perplexed look as his expression tells that he is trying to figure out what she means by that.

"You people started fighting amongst yourself during the times where you should have been united against the enemy," Clementine speaks as clear exhaustion became visible on her face.
