"I am meaning to tell you that the biggest mistake you will make is going back to the pack and seeking the assistance of your warriors for this battle. They are no longer under your control but under your father's control. A person who rules above thousands of rogues, what makes you think he won't be feared?" Lucifer smirked as he said, and Adrik shook his head at him.

"If they betray me, I won't blame them."

"Why won't you blame them? They betrayed you. No matter what, they betrayed you! A loyal dog never betrays its master. Don't you know that?" He spoke with displeasure in his tone and scoffed, disdain evident in his eyes. "Another reason why I dislike you, mortals. Betrayal, it's in your blood." 

Adrik stared at him, unable to utter any word. "So what now?"
