Of course, an expedition was launched to comb the forest in search of princess Yana, but it was fruitless. Eventually everyone accepted the bitter truth that Yana must have also perished in the forest.
Zen restored peace and order in the capital and the state. Life turned normal for everyone again. From all this information Xiao's group deduced several inner details. "I'm Ganza." The man with messy black hair, dirty stubble, worn-out old baggy grey coloured clothes said. He had rank 1 Master realm cultivation. His eyes were red and he had dark eyebags. His body kept wobbling as though he was drunk.
"I'm Chen." The man with hooded sky-blue clothes & mask. He looked like an assassin with a composed & cold vibe. He was at level 2 Master realm.
"We are the Trinity of Consulate!!" The three of them shouted in unison and made strange poses. A blast occurred behind them out of the blue.
"….." Deodomus and others didn't know how to laugh at this scene.
"So, it's the Trinity!" Ming Sheng exclaimed in whispers.
"You know about them?" Kyle asked in whispers too.
"Of course. Trinity is a group of bishops specializing in investigation & assassination. They are one of Consulate's elite teams! Do not provoke them at any cost!" Ming Sheng said.
It was obvious that Trinity must have come to investigate Han Mo's death but Deodomus probed anyway.
"Greetings to Trinity. How may we help you?" He asked.
"Hmph. We're here to investigate death of a bishop named Han Mo. Our investigation has led to you, who happen to be the last survivors of Han Mo's battalion and allies. Cough up the truth and save us the trouble of using our methods. Who killed Han Mo?" Uriel asked with arrogance.
"Lord Han Mo was killed by a goblin horde." Ming Sheng spoke and stepped up. He was Han's lackey and hence his words were most likely to be believed.
Uriel side-glanced Chen who nodded.
"We indeed ran into the goblin horde and obliterated them." Uriel spoke. Then we cut open all their corpses and investigated thoroughly, finding residual chi that belonged to Han Mo. He was eaten by the goblins indeed but how can a Master realm warrior be defeated by mindless beasts? Someone must have killed him and then fed him to the goblins. Speak the truth or else!" Uriel shouted and his entire body let out a burst of crimson flames! His red hair were dancing upwards in this fire and he looked dangerous.
"Hmph! What are you implying?" Deodomus retorted and revved his chi through his meridians, revealing his level 1 Master realm cultivation. Kyle thought something and similarly revealed his cultivation base too. Ming Sheng didn't follow them. He was fidgeting though. He disliked combat. He was a doctor not some battle maniac. But Deodomus was the most cunning man in the group. Although he was no match to Uriel's level 3 Master realm cultivation base, he still showed a tough stance. This was to say that he or his group was not a pushover. This was a tactic. If they were humble like Ming Sheng, Trinity would continue to put pressure on them.
Chen's eyes narrowed as he closely scrutinized Deodomus and others' expressions.
"We are not implying anything but everyone who was on that goblin mountain is a suspect. My investigative technique has already deduced that you were there. All of you except the old man." Chen pointed at Ming Sheng.
"So, we'd appreciate if you cooperate with the investigation lest you don't want to give face to the Consulate." Chen finished.
"Hmph." Deodomus snorted.
"Did you see with your own eyes that Han Mo was killed by the goblin horde?" Ganza inquired.
"No." Deodomus and Kyle spoke in unison.
"Then how do you know…" Ganza uttered.
"Xiao saw him getting trampled over by the horde." Kyle said and frowned. As expected, Xiao was now at the centre of suspicion. Although Kyle and others could lie about everything but Trinity might have techniques to differentiate truth and lie. It was not wise to create misgivings.
"This woman is Xiao?" Ganza asked as he crouched before Xiao.
"!!!" Deodomus and others were stunned.
"How did he get over to Xiao? We didn't even blink!" The three of them thought.
"They are troublesome!" Deodomus frowned as he and others turned back to stare at Ganza who was poking Xiao.
"Don't make any move on her!" Deodomus warned.
"I merely intend to investigate. Have some faith in Consulate members." Ganza said and began to probe Xiao's body. Then he grabbed her milk tankers and squeezed!
"You!" Ming Sheng shouted. "What are you doing!?"

A sweat drop trickled down Deodomus' temple. He understood that they were up against fearsome opponents.
"You shouldn't have taken Xiao. You've gone overboard. Even if you have reliable investigative techniques to learn the truth, we cannot trust you! You have malicious thoughts." Deodomus uttered. His words made sense. He could obviously lay low and not mess with these folks but they already taken Xiao and this was not a sign of goodwill. They were not trustworthy!

Boom! A fiery explosion occurred in the middle of two groups.
"Attack!" Deodomus roared.
