Chapter 57: Chapter 55: Spectacle in the sky.
George: "Where did you get this? Isn't this still in development."
Fred: "I remember the demo show of these fireworks. Though it was incomplete it was a spectacle to behold. These look different though."
Liam was not sure how to explain how he got his hands on this fireworks. He was already working on this firework ever since he got to know that in the present time these fireworks were still the development phase. The daily prophet covered the event through which Liam got this news.
He casually searched for information about firework related alchemy but nothing popped up. He changed his perspective, in the olden times the word firework didn't exist. But what did exist was illusions. Liam thought that there must have been some kind of magic used by performing artist. His thinking was correct and he found many different formulas in the book of Solomon.
But not having the required material was also a big problem for him. He just recently got his hands on the material (Borrowed from Snape's lab). So he tried out some of the recipes which were successful. He can't take credit for making this but now he has no choice but to lie.
"A letter came for professor Snape two day ago. Out of curiosity I read the letter. It contained an incomplete formula to make this fireworks. I couldn't control myself and ended up completing the formula… by accident." Liam stuttered in the end.
"You did What!" Both the twins were losing their minds.
"Even the team which was developing this took years but they weren't able to do this and you say you did that in a day. Also in such a time with such mental stress." Hermione was shocked, "And when did you even get time for this."
Liam just shrugged, "That's not important. What's important is what we are going to do with all this things? Listen carefully…
[Flashback no. 2 end]

[Meanwhile in the Stadium]
The quiditch match had ended, and harry Fred and George were waiting for Edward.
Hermione and Cedric were waiting for Fred and George to arrive at the backstage where the students who would be performing in the ceremony were waiting. Just after discussing the plan Fred and George went to Professor McGonagall and had themselves registered to perform in the ending ceremony after the quiditch match.
Not just this but they specifically requested for them to perform first. The ending Ceremony was more like a talent show and as the twins were very good at performing they were given what they asked for. But with a slight warning. 'Don't cause trouble.' These were the words McGonagall said to them.
"Let's begin the Ceremony with the first performance from Fred and George. They are going to be performing a firework show." An announcement was made.
In the guest's side, a slightly older looking man was sitting with a young man in who looked like he was around Cedric's age. The older man was Stewart Doyle and the young boy was James Doyle. Stewart being the Vice president of the Alchemist guild was very interested when the announcement was made that the Hogwarts students would be performing a firework show.
"A firework show! This is going to be interesting." Stewart exclaimed as he heard the announcement.
"Father, what do you think they would do? I bet that won't even be able to replicate the firework performance which was held by you." James said as he looked towards his father with a smug smile.
"Hahaha, of course they wouldn't be able to do such a thing. This was made by just students. How could it compare to what we made? But it would still be exciting to see what the little wizards have created." Stewart laughed.
Fred and George walked to the middle of the stadium both holding a box in their hands. Liam made some extra fireworks especially for this show. He showed how he made the firework to the twins but they were unable to learn much. But what they did learn was how to control the firework. The firework needed a wizard to control it properly. The twins were able to quickly learn how to control the firework. They learned it so fast that even Liam was shocked to see their learning speed.
'They are geniuses but only when the subject is this.'
The twins placed the box in the middle, both were wearing tuxedos. The Hogwarts students started to clap as they saw the two. They were in high expectations to see what the twins were going to perform.
Fred: "Why wait let's just begin."
George opened the box with his wand and scarlet colored smoke came out of the box.
"Let the sky be colored." The twins shouted.
With their shout gold colored flares were launched into the sky which originated from the box. The small flare went higher than the stadium and burst in the sky. The small light particles which formed after the flare burst didn't fade but instead shined even brighter.
They were attracted towards one single spot. No one noticed how this happened but it was actually Fred who was waving his wand from the ground controlling the small flares of golden light.
The flares started to take a shape of a lion. The Gryffindor students shouted loudly as they witnessed this. The lifeless Lion which was motionless in the sky started to move. The giant Lion formed by the small golden flares roared in the sky.
ROAR~~
Everyone in the stadium were shocked to see such a thing happening. The Lion started running the sky. He entered the stadium and Ran around the stadium. The excited students shouted loudly as they saw this spectacle.
"Thiss…. What? How?" Stewart had his mind blown by the show of firework. James was too excited to see the running Golden and scarlet Lion in the sky that he didn't even notice the shocked expression of his father.
"Why stop here lets light up the others too." The twins shouted.
Everyone was baffled by such a statement, "Wait there's more" Stewart exclaimed.
The box emitted three other color of smoke which covered the ground. Scarlet which represented the Gryffindor house, Yellow which represented the Hufflepuff house, Blue which represented the Ravenclaw house and Green which represented he Slytherin house.
Three flares were shot form the box. Each of the respective color black, bronze and silver. The tree flare shots bursted in the sky and formed into three animals. The black one formed a badger, the bronze one formed an eagle and the silver formed a snake.
The four creature each represented the four houses of Hogwarts. Everyone was looking in the sky at the creatures formed by small flares.
The creatures gained life and then joined the Lion which was running around the stadium.
In the stadium Hermione was near the guests seating area. And Cedric was in the opposite sitting area. The second smoke release was the signal. Hermione was ready and Cedric too.
Cedric waited for the right moment and launched a black colored flare spell just when the black badger was closer to the guest seating area.
Which hit a specific person, who was an auror named. Garrison he specialized in investigation and was sent by the ministry to investigate the forbidden magic incident.
The black flare launched towards Garrison, from the downward direction. As he was still immersed in the spectacle in the sky he couldn't dodge the flare and it struck him in the face.
"AHH!" shouted Garrison, "A flare struck my face." The glasses he was wearing broke and his clothes were mudded. "Ohhh this is…" he took out his wand and used a cleaning spell to take out the stain. But the spell didn't work.
"Garrison, I suggest you use water instead of a spell. The firework are made up of alchemy materials a spell won't be able to take the stains off." Stewart said while looking at garrison who was looking miserable.
Garrison had a very angry expression, "These kids, if they can't control it properly they should have at least informed first. We would have set up an barrier spell here."
"Don't whine here. Go and wash the stains quickly otherwise they would start to smell. In the worst case scenario they might even burn your clothes off." Stewart said in a annoyed voice, "Go quickly and let me watch the fireworks."
Garrison had to listen to Stewart, he didn't want his clothes to burn. He walked out towards the stairs. As he walked towards the stairs Hermione popped up.
"Sir are you alright? Professor noticed a flare went in the wrong direction towards the Guests siting area and sent me here to check as he was preoccupied by something." Hermione said with an innocent smile on her face.
"Off you came at the right time. Quickly take me to somewhere there's water. I need to wash these stains off my clothes." Garrison ordered Hermione.
"Sorry sir, the professor was pre occupied because of this reason. The water in the stadium has ran out. But there is still water in the castle." Hermione replied, "Sir I notice that your eyes are shrinking a lot."
"Ohh this my glasses broke because of the flare." Garrison replied, "Quickly lead me to the castle."
"Sir I have this spare glasses, anyone can wear this I can lead you these if you want." Hermione said in a sweet voice.
"Yes that would be good." Hermione handed Michael's glasses to Garrison.
The moment Garrison wore the glasses his vision cleared up. He was even able to see the magic flowing in the air. "The glasses you gave me. Name a price I would like to buy them from you. What do you say?" Garrison look at the little girl who was leading him to the castle.
"Sorry sir but these glasses are not mine I borrowed these from a friend of mine so I can't sell these to you." Hermione replied, 'He also noticed how good these glasses are. If I could buy these I would have already bought them.'
'It's a shame I can't buy these glasses. I don't think the person who gave lent the glasses to this girl nor the girl knows the true value of these glasses. Such a shame.'
Garrison looked at the Hermione, "Kid you have a good heart, what's your name?"
Hermione smiled, "Hermione Granger, it's nice to meet you sir."
Garrison was pleased to see such an innocent child, "Just call me Mr. Garrison." He smiled.

[Back to the castle]
A loud cheer could be heard inside the castle. Liam and Edward were facing each other and both had their wands in their hands. Edwards also noticed the loud cheer, "The ceremony has started." He looked at Liam whose body was a lot tense. Liam was also griping his wand a lot tighter as well. Which strengthened Edward's confidence even more.
"You don't know how to formally duel." He said with words full of mockery. It's not that Liam didn't know the formalities of a duel. He was just didn't want to bow to Edward.
"Let's keep the formalities aside. I will count to three and we will start our duel." Edward proposed an alternative and with a nod approval of Liam he started counting, "1… 2… 3".

The moment Edward shot his spell Liam absorbed it. Liam was on the defensive he had to prolong the duel till Hermione comes in the castle with Garrison. When Garrison arrives here with just a look he would be able to see that the ring which Edward is wearing is a black magic object and apprehend Edward.
Garrison is a specialist in the investigation related to use of forbidden magic. He will surely be able to tell that the magic used on the Harry's broom and the magic on Edwards ring is similar. Liam hoped this would happen. He wasn't sure if Garrison had such ability but even if things go south. Dumbledore would surely be able to resolve the whole thing. Liam figured so as he got to know that he didn't reveal which magic was used. There might be a different reason for this. But still it was a good thing for Liam either way.
Liam took a deep breath in as he looked towards Edward who was in a state of shock.

I know what I said. I promised that this arc will end in two chapters but its taking one tiny little chapter more. I hope you understand. This chapter took a long time to write as well. I hope you liked this chapter. The next chapter will be the end of this arc. I hope you are ready for some action and some big reveals. The next chapter will reveal some things.
