Chapter 26: Going to the rooftop
The guy that appeared before me seemed to have called himself 'Takeshi'. He said something about Kenta, tho I wasn't sure if he knew my status as an awakened.
The person himself is around 1.8m tall or 6 foot tall, with wild black hair, untucked school uniform, no neckties and a messy unironed shirt. He looks just like a delinquent.

What's with this ability? Sounds cool. This guy seems to also have a ton of HP.
"Hey Takeshi, nice to meet you." As I replied, I noticed that all my other classmates were looking at me.
"Let's go talk somewhere else." He said
Once we reached the empty rooftop, I was the first to ask
"What happened there? Why were they looking at me?"
"Because people think I was going to bully you." He replied
"In this school, I have a reputation for going into fights, so people think I'm sort of a delinquent bully. Tho I don't fight to bully people... I fight because I hate seeing others bullying the weak." He said to me while standing firm
"I. I see.." I replied, not sure what to say
"So what's your relationship with Kenta?" He asked me
"Well we were old schoolmates, I've only found out that he was an awakened couple months after. And you?" I replied
"I'm his childhood friend! We were neighbours and we too found out about each other's abilities months after knowing each other. Apparently, his ability and mine correspond well." He said with a grin
"That's cool," I replied
"That being said, you are an awakened yourself, right? Why didn't you say that in class?" He asked me
"I don't really wanna stand out as an awakened and I just want to live a normal high school life. And besides, aren't we banned from saying the word awakened to normal people?"
"Not really, everyone in our class is awakened. Some even occasionally used their abilities." Takeshi told me
"I'm planning to lay low as a normal student so please keep this a secret," I told him
"I understand.. anyway, since no one is here, wanna trade abilities?" He asked me
"What does that mean?" I replied
"I thought you knew? It's a term popular in America. Anyways, the trading ability is when you trade light blows with someone with your ability just to get to know one another." Takeshi explained to me
"Sounds cool. Let's do it." I said smiling
On an open rooftop with nearly no people, I got into a stance to make it look like I'm serious. I don't really want to show my abilities so I'll just use my 'Teleport' ability.

He began by coming up to me and punching me. When he threw his punch, I could feel a drag of wind in the direction of his punch. Is he boosting his punch with the wind? It's not that much of a deal but the wind disturbs my balance a bit.
We traded blows and during one of our blows, Takeshi paused and asked "You should've known what my ability is by now but I still haven't known yours."
To answer that question, I took a distance and began channelling my Teleport skill, and appeared behind him, surprising him. Before he could do anything tho, I put my hand on his neck, putting an end to the spar.
"I see.. Something like a bodyflicker?" He asked me
"Something like that." I told him
The bell rang and we went back to our class. Our classmates saw us and they began whispering to one another. To anyone who saw me, they'd probably think that I was bullied as my clothes are all messy and my pockets are all out as if I had just been mugged.
The rest of the day went as usual, with no one else approaching me, probably scared that they will have to become the next 'victim' of Takeshi's 'bullying'. When it was time for me to go home, I said my goodbye to Takeshi and went home.
After sleeping for a couple of minutes, I warmed up for my 9th endless mode.
[Endless Mode: Stage 9]
I accepted it and as usual, I got teleported to an arena. It seems like a swamp.
[Stage 9: Starting in 5 seconds]

'Holy mother of god, why is the enemy so strong? Does the difficulty correspond to my current prowess? '
As I thought about it, I felt something wet on my hand.
'Am I perspiring? No.. it's just the rain.. These toads could never make me sweat.'
As the timer ended, 5 poison toads spawned 10 meters in front of me. I immediately took off with my [Arctic Form].

After flying off, I went far above them. But the problem is, I can't attack those toads as these vines and trees are blocking my vision, forcing me to lower myself so I could get in the attack range.
I attacked them smoothly and killed 4 of them without any of them touching me. That was when I realised that one is missing. After seeing him on my left, he immediately shot out his tongue, trying to poison me. Being the pro gamer I was, I ducked as quickly as possible, dodging the attack and shot him down.
The next 5 toads spawned. But that time, something was strange about them. They seem to have a different set of movements..
After thinking about it for a while, I realised that they are cooperating. No that's not it.. They were learning..
They jumped from trees to trees to try and reach me. But unfortunately for them, I could fly. So I shot 5 of them down when they couldn't do anything to even reach me.
After that, another 10 of them spawned this time. Looking closely, they seem to be riding one another?
As soon as I noticed that, a toad riding another toad jumped on me. But they couldn't reach me.. Or so I thought. The toad riding the other toad jumped from the head of the toad, attacking me in the process, poisoning me. I fled and went up high to think of a strategy to kill them, all the while taking the poison I received. It sure is painful to be poisoned.

One poison got me down to less than half my HP. I went down, activated [Borrowed Time], making me invincible and I hunted all of them.

That was dangerous, forcing me to use Borrowed Time. After going back to the real world, I took some rest and heard a sound.
I got a message on my phone from Takeshi.
