The settlement was already made of concrete and surrounded by a fence high enough that the wolves would not be able to break through.

From a distance, she could see the 15 children who were carrying food were entering the gate guarded by 2 common vampires.

'Whoa, apparently there are vampires guarding the settlement.' She was a little happy because the safety of the children's homes was really guarded and not left in the middle of the forest unattended.

Seeing that there were 2 vampires guarding their settlement, Alicia was sure they would be fine and well monitored by the vampires, but for some reason she still hesitated if she hadn't seen their condition in person.

Given that she was a noble vampire and had the authority to gain access to the children's settlement, she thought she could get past the common vampire guard without being intercepted.
