Chapter 105: To engage with each other

Larisa's eyes blazed with a fiery intensity as she stared at her son, a mix of frustration and anger pulsing through her veins. The argument between her husband, Eugene, and Warren had reached a fever pitch once again, their voices booming inside the hotel room as soon as Clary was out. Larisa was beyond fed up with their bickering. So, she stormed out of the stadium when a couple of people were saying that the weather outside was so pleasant.

Looks like her mood was better off listening to their loud voices than spotting her son here today. Any other day, she would have been overjoyed to see him, for he was known to be quite elusive, always escaping away whenever she calls home. But today was different; he was here for a reason, and she knew it. She couldn't help but regret believing him when he had told her that he had nothing to do with that woman.
