Chapter 11: I Want This

Delon had to meet Jeno after dinner.

The two men will discuss the company and of course discuss Tio's offer to Jeno.

At dinner Delon had explained to Jeno that his relationship with Jenny would not go beyond brotherhood.

But, of course not for Jenny's father Tio. Tio will try to get Delon to marry his daughter before Jenny's death comes.

Jeno had been racking his brains to refuse his brother's offer. But instead of an idea, he got a way to help.

Delon actually still has a father. However, Jeno has not been able to find his best friend after the plane crash that hit Delon and his family.

If Delon's father was there, everything could be under control. Because Delon's father's company has also been counted as one of the pillars of the world's business like Jeno's father's.

"Dad, can I come in?" asked someone who was already at the door. "Come in," Jeno ordered.

"Don't you want to consider Jenny?" Jeno asked, clarifying his son's decision again.

Delon looked at Jeno with confidence. If his heart wouldn't accept Jenny because Rachel was already there.

"Sorry, I can't, Pa."

Jeno took a deep breath, actually Jeno didn't want to force his son to love a woman he didn't love at all.

But because of the crush and pressure from the shareholders, Tio made him forget everything.

"Okay... Papa will never force you again," said Jeno who started to throw away his selfishness while gently touching Delon's stocky shoulder.

"Thank you, Pa. I will make our company rise again without me having to marry Jenny," Delon replied with certainty. Jeno nodded in response.

Jeno never doubted Delon's way of doing business. Because Delon already has his own company in America, so Jeno really trusts his son who will replace him temporarily.

"I'm sorry Papa can't be a real Papa for you, Boy," Jeno said sadly.

Delon stood up and then approached Jeno who was standing not far from him.

"I should be the one apologizing for not being able to return the favor in my current life to marry Jenny, Pa..."

"I'm really sorry," added Delon. Jeno shook his head, "It's not your fault, Boy. This is Papa's problem... you shouldn't be involved," explained Jeno guilty.

"Don't say that, Pa. Even though I'm not your biological son... but, you are very precious to me."

Jeno couldn't say anything else to reply to Delon's words.

He should be the one to blame. Jeno considers himself incompetent to be the perfect family head.

Behind Jeno and Delon's conversation, it turned out that there was a pair of ears that overheard the conversation of the two men.

His mouth fell open at the fact that he had never known until now.

Rachel listened to all the nagging from Jeno and Delon. Even the fact that Delon wasn't his father's biological child, Rachel knew that.

"Is what I heard true? So all this time, Delon's Brother is not my brother?" Rachel muttered in disbelief.

Rachel began to listen again to the conversation between Jeno and Delon as she leaned in between the gaps in the open door.

"Why did you reject Jenny, Boy? It's not a problem you don't like her, right? Because there are many marriages without love and everything ends beautifully," said Jeno curiously.

Delon was silent. Standing in a cool style. Delon never even thought that his love would be planted on Jeno's daughter.

Jeno, who didn't get an answer from Delon, could only nod in understanding.

"Ah... never mind Papa knows. If you keep quiet like this, then the answer is only one..."

"You must already have a lover." Jeno looked at Delon with the grin of a friend not a father.

Delon gave a shy smile. It turned out that the middle-aged man in front of him was able to guess what was in Delon's heart.

"Who is she? Schoolmates? College friends or co-workers?" Jeno asked repeatedly. Delon answered, shaking his head, which means that's not all.

Jeno took a deep breath and then walked over to Delon. "Yes. . . Whoever she is, please introduce us someday. You know, your mother has been busy wanting grandchildren," Jelon teased.

"Okay. But, I have not expressed my feelings to her," said Delon.

Jeno, who heard his son's reply, immediately walked to Jeno's desk and took a book.

"Here... read it. I'm sure your candidate will immediately accept you," Jeno said as he threw the book at Delon.

hap

Delon also caught it just right. An eyebrow rose as he read the title of the book Jeno had given him, "Tips for Trapping Women?"

"Should I read this, Pa? This is too much. I don't like it," Delon refused, as if he was amused himself when he read from the beginning the title of the book, let alone the contents according to Delon.

Jeno shrugged his shoulders as his body sat down on his oversized bench. "Keep it for now. Maybe you'll need it. Hahaha...."

Delon took a deep breath. With a heavy heart, he took the book Jeno gave him and left Jeno's office.

When Delon was about to open Jeno's office door. Delon's eyes found a shadow running in a hurry when the door was opened by him.

Oh my gosh I'm dead! Brother out!

Rachel ran in an unclear direction because Rachel was confused. Rachel had no idea Delon would be out so soon. Finally Rachel hid behind the large wall between Jeno's rooms.

I hope you don't see me...

Delon stepped according to what he saw earlier. Pieces of Rachel's pajamas were slightly visible so Delon didn't have a hard time figuring out who had been there earlier.

"Why don't you come in here instead?" The question immediately made Rachel gasp in surprise.

Rachel's eyes blinked a few times to realize that it was Delon's voice behind her.

How can Rachel be seen and captured directly by Delon with feelings that are still awkward like this.

Rachel hesitantly spun around and showed her awkward smile. "I was just thirsty earlier," Rachel lied.

Rachel's lie succeeded in making Delon wince. Jeno's workspace with the refrigerator is quite far away. How could Rachel reason like that?

"Are you sure? The fridge is downstairs, isn't it? Geez... did I forget that the fridge was moved?" teased Delon who had deliberately asked Rachel that question.

Rachel rolled her eyes. Her mouth and brain are indeed not in a good performance because of Delon's current charm.

"Or are you wanting more?" Delon teased again while advancing his steps.

Rachel's eyes widened in alarm when she saw Delon getting closer to the distance between them.

"What do you mean... Brother, what?" Rachel asked, her body tensed when Delon had locked Rachel's body.

"Like this ..." Delon covered Rachel's face gently until it reached Rachel's soft lips.

"I want this...." Delon brought his lips closer. Delon was about to start, but the sound of footsteps startled them.

"Brother ... don't be like this," Rachel said fearfully.

"Shhh... shut up!"
