Chapter 25: Chapter Twenty-five: I can get a peerage
With both of the stars in the ring it was time to explain the rules behind their match. In short they would send representatives to fight each other the winner will remain in the ring. The representative will continue to fight until they lose or are traded out by someone else. This will continue until oneside completely runs out of representatives. The rules obviously favor Riser more since he can keep his representatives while wearing Haoyu down. Haoyu on the other hand would have to continually face off against fresh opponents. Haoyu was not concerned about that in fact his mind was completely focused on his prize.
Announcer: Looks like the combatants are ready so let us get the first participants from the Riser peerage.
After the announcer said that from where Riser's peerage stood two young looking girls walked to the stage. The girl looked the same with both having green hair, blue eyes and looking about 14 years old. They both were carrying chainsaws with a grin on their faces.
Announcer: The first match will be between Riser's twin pawns Ile and Nel vs Qin Haoyu. Without any further delay let ha e this battle get under way.
Ten minutes after the start of the first match it is already the last match of the duel with Riser Vs Haoyu. Until now Haoyu pretty much steam rolled his way through the entirety of Riser's peerage. No fight lasted more than a minute until he faced Riser. As for why this fight actually went on for five minutes it was because Haoyu was toying with him. At the very beginning Haoyu summoned his dark phenix avatar to do all of the fighting. Due to them both being Phoenixs there was advantages. Thus the fight became one of who was stronger rather who had better abilities. The result was Riser being absolutely overwhelmed. Since their fight had started Riser has not managed to land a single clean hit. Right now he was laying on the ground covered in wounds. His normally powerful healing abilities could not help him recover from the damage Haoyu caused. Haoyu stood over Riser watching him groan in pain with a neutral expression.
Haoyu: If I have to be honest with you I don't really hate you or anything. Problem is that you constantly keep talking about how amazing you are because of your lineage. In my eyes this means absolutely nothing. In this word there is only one truth that must never be forgotten ,and that is might makes right.
Done talking Haoyu simply turned around to walk away since it was obvious that he has won. As he walked the crowd broke in to thunderous applause. Waiting for him at the arena entrance was Rias ,who from the looks of it was, fighting hard to not cry. Once he saw her face Haoyu was even more sure that he made the right choice. In this world there is no Oppai dragon but instead a devil arhat. Thus he decided to make sure that everything that issei fought to protect is protected by him.
Haoyu: Just in case you don't understand I will say it out loud. Rias Gremory from this day forward you are my woman so be warned that I am very possessive.
While he was saying that Haoyu already arrived in front of her and wrapped his arms around her small waist. He then used his hand to tilt head up so he can look into her eyes. He only looked for a few seconds before planting a kiss on her cherry lips. Although it was a brief one it did well to help convey his feelings.
Sirzechs:(cough)Alright that is enough romance for now. Right now I need to talk to Haoyu about a really important matter.
Due to Sirzechs interruption Haoyu's attention was pulled toward him where he found someone quite interesting. Behind him was a man with a bewitchingly beautiful appearance and green hair. Haoyu already knew that this is Ajuka Beelzebub the genius who created the evil piece system.
Ajuka: You probably already know who I am but just in case my name is Ajuka Beelzebub ,it is nice to meet you.
He then went on to explain what he wanted Haoyu for. Basically he wanted to see if demons or devils from other mythologies can use the evil piece system. As for why he chose Haoyu it is because of Avrora. Since Haoyu is part vampire Ajuka theorized that he should at the very least be minimally compatible.
Ajuka: Normally you have to be register with the monolith so that your evil pieces are intuned to your aura. However I recently created pieces that just need your aura injected in to them.
As he said that Ajuka handed Haoyu a small case. Immediately Haoyu opened it to reveal sixteen chess pieces that looked like they were made of crystal. Haoyu then followed Beelzebub's instruction to pour his aura in to the case. Soon he felt a hard to explain connection with the chess pieces that now started to glow platinum. Seeing that Haoyu quickly started to think about who he will have join his peerage. At the same time Rias's face bloomed into a is radiant smile. Right when she leaped into his arms the other girls also came running over. It was at this moment that Sirzechs said something that shocked everyone.
Sirzechs: Seeing as you got your evil pieces and have won the right to be with Rias. I decided to liven things up by giving you a special. Specifically I will give you Grayfia to be your first piece.
Once Sirzechs finished speaking everyone looked at him with expressions of pure shock. Everyone except for Grayfia who was blushing and her sister smiling as they walked up. Haoyu looked back and forth between Sirzechs and Grayfia.
