Then she gave him directions for his orbit after he was done with the most important changes. He followed it obediently mostly because he is not powerful enough to defy her and partly because he doesn't have anything better to do. 

The way she grabbed him made him experience how unsafe a star is in the void universe. World gods will certainly be interested in a special and weak star like him. All it will take for them to have him is to simply reach forward and pluck him like some fruit from a tree. So he can't get cocky yet. He certainly can't get cocky with someone whose plane he was about to destroy.
