Fen Duanhun checked up on Yun Che and found that the only people he ever cared about were his wife Xia Qingyue, his brother in law Xia Yuanba, his adoptive grandfather Xiao Lie and his adoptive aunt Xiao Lingxi.
Out of these four, Xia Qingyue and Xia Yuanba were untouchable due to being an authoritative member of Frozen Cloud Asgard and missing respectively. Xiao Lie and Xiao Lingxi though, were easy to capture. And with Yun Che displaying the strength of 8th level Sky Profound realm, they had to resort to underhanded means like blackmailing him with his loved ones to deal with him.
Of course, this also had to do with the fact that most of their own Sky Profound elders had died in the Scarlet Dragon Mountain Range a year ago, when they had gone to look for a fire element treasure in the place.
Earth Profound realm disciples were sent out to the Xiao clan and upon a little bit of threatening, Xiao Lie and Xiao Lingxi were relinquished to them by the clan head. They successfully came back with their two conquests.
Xiao Lie was knocked out and held in a cell, while Xiao Lingxi was placed in a luxurious bedroom. Of course, this didn't mean she was treated well. The senior most disciple remaining after the death of Fen Juecheng and Fen Juebi, apart from Fen Juechen, barged into the room of Xiao Lingxi, startling her.
This disciple was, naturally, not as strong of mind as Yun Che and was easily fascinated by Xiao Lingxi's appearance. So he pulled a 'scum young master' move and attempted to force himself on the poor girl. However, after disrobing himself, Xiao Lingxi and throwing her onto the bed, he discovered that he could not get his male organ excited for some reason.
He looked at the naked Xiao Lingxi and imagined all sorts of perverted fantasies, but no matter what his male organ remained dormant and refused to rise. This situation left him utterly flabbergasted and he didn't know what to do.
At this moment, Fen Juechen burst into the room. He had heard what his trash of a father had done, and also how one of their disciples was going to violate Xiao Lingxi, so he rushed to the place as quickly as he could. After all, not only did he have a friendly impression of Yun Che, he was also too proud to stoop to such underhanded measures.
As he burst into the room, he was met with a strange scene: the victim, Xiao Lingxi, was lying naked on the bed, showing off a gorgeous appearance. Thankfully, she was covering her private parts with her hands, so it was not as embarrassing as it could have been. And the disciple who he had come to stop, was standing in a daze, completely naked but visibly not excited at all.
Still, this did not prevent him from lashing out at the disciple and swiftly knocking him out. Upon turning around, he found that Xiao Lingxi was trying to jump through the window. The building they were in was 6 floors high, so jumping from there would at least cause severe injuries, and possibly kill her!
Fen Juechen immediately rushed forward and leaped, grabbing the naked Xiao Lingxi around her waist before she could jump. She started thrashing around, hitting Fen Juechen, "My dignity has been tarnished! I don't want to live anymore! Let me go you bastard!" She had gone into a maniacal state and was struggling to get out of Fen Juechen's hands.
In this scuffle, Fen Juechen's hands brushed against her mammary glands a few times and he thought they were quite soft. To his pleasant surprise, his male organ was not excited for some reason, otherwise Xiao Lingxi might have taken him to be another scum young master and struggled even harder.
Finally, Fen Juechen managed to force Xiao Lingxi on the bed again. Immediately after that, he averted his eyes, "Listen, I am not like that scum. I came here to save you upon hearing that guy was going to do unspeakable things to you, and came upon this situation. Dress yourself, I am not looking."
Xiao Lingxi finally calmed down. She dressed herself, ensuring Fen Juechen was indeed not looking at her, and analysed the last few minutes. She realized that Fen Juechen had indeed acted in her favor, and was ashamed that she had called him names and hit him, although it was insignificant due to the difference in profound strength.
"I apologize. I acted way too rudely to you earlier." She submissively bowed to Fen Juechen and apologized. Fen Juechen finally turned and looked at Xiao Lingxi properly. Upon seeing her, he was immediately entranced by her beauty. She was not the most beautiful woman he had ever seen – that would be Xia Qingyue – but she was definitely near the top.
After a few moments, he regained his bearings, "Ah, it's alright. It is I who should apologize on behalf of the Burning Heaven Clan for putting you in this situation." Before Xiao Lingxi could say anything, the door of the room was opened once more and Yun Che came in.
Yun Che had followed the Spirit Profound realm aura signature of Xiao Lie and barged into the cell where he was being held. No one from the Burning Heaven Clan had been able to stop him. Then after retrieving Xiao Lie from there, he had followed the Spirit Profound realm aura signature of Fen Juechen and arrived here.
He went ahead and gently placed the unconscious Xiao Lie on the bed. Then turning to the other occupants of the room, he asked, "What happened here?" Xiao Lingxi explained everything that had happened, including giving Fen Juechen credit for saving her.
Yun Che already knew that Lingxi couldn't possibly be sexually assaulted, which was why he had allowed this situation to develop in the first place, but he still got infuriated at the poor loser who had attempted to do so.
"Brother Fen, I can't let this disciple go unpunished, I hope you understand that." Not waiting for a reply, he walked up to the unconscious disciple and touched him. His profound energy flowed into the disciple's body and he skillfully controlled it to destroy the disciple's profound veins. The disciple was crippled and all his profound strength was dissipated.
After this was done, he said to Fen Juechen, "Brother Fen, I owe you my gratitude for saving my aunt. You have my eternal friendship. However, I must request you to guard her for a while longer, while I go and take care of my conflict with Burning Heaven Clan. Oh, and take care of my grandfather as well."
Fen Juechen, who had been distraught from Yun Che's apparent death, was relieved to see him here. He hugged him and nodded in affirmation.
Yun Che went out to face the Burning Heaven Clan members who had gathered outside to fight him. He was greeted with the Heavenfire Star Burning Formation – the strongest offensive formation of the Burning Heaven Clan. However, it was of the fire element and Yun Che was immune to fire.
Yun Che used his immense control over the fire element from the Evil God's Fire seed and the Phoenix bloodline to throw the formation right back at the Burning Heaven Clan. If this formation hit the clan headquarters, it would be burnt to ashes!
At this point, Fen Yijue, the previous Clan Master and the father of Fen Duanhun, came out of his seclusion and blocked the Heavenfire Star Burning Formation. He was at the 4th level of Emperor Profound realm.
He attacked Yun Che casually, but was unable to hurt him. This was not only because of Yun Che's innate immunity to fire, but also because their profound strength levels were too close meaning Yun Che had far higher combat strength.
Yun Che didn't waste any time and directly used Falling Moon Sinking Star on the Grand Clan Master, immediately killing him in the process. He then took the interspatial ring of the fallen foe and stored it in the Sky Poison Pearl. After all, the interspatial ring contained the key to the Eternal Night Royal Family's burial grounds – the thing which he actually wanted from this place.
Then he turned to the Burning Heaven Clan's members, who were looking with terrified expressions frozen on their faces, "Your strongest formation is of no use and your strongest member is dead. Are you convinced now that I could massacre you if I wanted? But I am not willing to do so. Leave me and my loved ones alone. And make sure to treat Fen Juechen well. I will not bother you."
Saying this, Yun Che turned back towards the building where Fen Juechen, Xiao Lingxi and Xiao Lie were present. He explained that the conflict had been resolved and that Xiao Lie and Xiao Lingxi should be taken back to the Xiao clan.
As a gesture of both gratitude and apology, he gave Fen Juechen the bottle of Profound Opening Powder, which he had obtained from the Visit of Xiao sect, more than a year ago. It was basically a much weakened version of the Purple Vein Marrow Quenching Liquid.
"Relax, brother Fen. I have not poisoned it. After all, you are my brother unlike that Fen Juecheng who deserved to die."
