Chapter 258: (258) First Step

"That's... Dangerous," Apate's face was scrunched up in confusion and disbelief.

Geth had spent the last hour describing the Redo Formation, how he had woken up, his time in this world, and some of his and Zolis' lives before waking up here.

Albus had quite a bit to say, too, surprising Apate by linking with her mental sphere. With the link, the three could communicate like it was an old three-way call.

Geth was more surprised by how open Albus was being. He supposed getting a Goddess' opinion was something the man could never have done in his own life.

"I think," Apate continued, "What surprises me the most is that we didn't stop it."

"What do you mean?" Albus asked.

"I mean, what the hell happened to us? There are at least nine Races here who are Tier 8 or higher," She said. "That shouldn't change in any timeline."

"There's no telling," Albus responded, "In the previous timeline, all one hundred lesser worlds merged at once."
