Chapter 291: Put it back

In the Cross Kingdom, there were four powerful vampire clans: the royal Le Blac family, Hallewell, Frost, and Highmore. It was no secret that these four families were powerful and were equally vicious. But the most vicious of them all was the Highmore Clan, led by a twisted man, the Duke of Southcross, Octavian Highmore. 

The three clans had found the same equilibrium and had stayed in a neutral relationship with each other. However, because Octavian Highmore was a wicked man who would bow down to no one, our clan was ostracized and was isolated from the rest of the world. 

Most people thought isolating us would affect us; it didn't. Not even the slightest. If anything, the duchy even prospered… not in the best methods, though. The duchy prospered because of what others called 'illegal' dealings, branding everyone in the duchy as felons.
