Chapter 55: Dumbfounded

Caleb stifled a growl. "Fuck!" His cock shot north. 

In order to break their conversation, Laurel called him, "Your Highness! You—" 

But Caleb didn't even pay attention to her. He picked up his bride in his arms. She hooked her legs around him and they walked out of the restaurant. Elize tilted her head over Caleb's shoulder to look at the pest called Laurel. This was her answer to her for giving her the idea to reject her mate. Elize was sure she wouldn't reject him and so she decided to take each day as it came. She had to build her relationship with the man who worried her and for whom she was worried. Deep down she knew he belonged to her. The thought made her feel better and Elize was craving to feel better. She caved in to her feelings. She wanted to live and she wanted to live with him.
