Chapter 45: Dedication to Curves

Elize heard a roar from the room. Scared as hell, her chest seized as her brain started deciphering different scenarios. Did someone attack them again? Did they find out that she was a vampire? Was Caleb under attack? Was Caleb fighting with all of them outside the door? The roar was like a battle cry mixed with pain and something she couldn't point. 

She rushed out, opened the door with a bang and found Caleb kneeling on the floor in front of her. "What the f—" she rasped with wide eyes and body movements freezing momentarily. She was speechless and blinked rapidly to process what she was seeing. Finally, her mouth fell to the floor.
