Chapter 208: Testing The Magic Tool

**ADDIE'S POV**

I really do wish that I could figure out what was going on. I mean, why was it that whenever Nolan touched me, I felt like something was burning me. I mean, it didn't hurt, and it wasn't like I was actually on fire, but there was just this intense sort of heat that seemed to be flowing from him to me. It was not something that I was used to, and it was really unsettling at times. Especially when I knew that he was mad at me.

And there were a lot of times that I knew this man had to be mad at me. I mean, take yesterday into account. I had messed up. I nearly killed myself with mana drain. And then I had pulled Nolan inside of my head. I had made him find out things that he probably wasn't ready to find out. It was truly a pain. Actually, what I mean to say here is that I was truly a pain in the ass.
