Chapter 87: A Chat With A Guard

By the time that I was feeling better, better enough to leave that bed that is, it had been five days since the incident. I didn't really remember what happened all that much. All I remembered was that weird dream that I had about the old me talking and telling me that I lived multiple lives before I was even Adelaide. I knew that wasn't true though, since I didn't have memories of those lives like I did my Adelaide life. I know that it was just my mind playing tricks on me. It had to be.

For those other two days that I had been stuck in bed, Violet and Deanna had brought me my meals to the bedroom so that I could eat and recover my strength. They also bathed me and dressed me but didn't let me get up and do anything. Even when I needed to use the bathroom, I was carried there by one of them.
