Chapter 47: Exhausted

"Now that you have eaten and had time to rest, I want this place cleaned. Make it shine. You have until lunch time." What? Wait a minute! Did this man even know what he was asking for? That was a job that I definitely couldn't do in that amount of time.

"Uhm.. M..Mr. Boberre, I can't do that in just that short of a time. I am not good at cleaning and this is a lot of stuff to clean up."

"Heh. So you can't cook or clean. What are you good for?" He was angry, but he didn't do anything else at the moment. He just rolled his eyes and turned to go sit back down. "Do what you can at least. Keep cleaning every day until it is perfect."

I had no choice but to do as he told me to. I started to clean by following what I remembered seeing other people do throughout my life. I mean, it's not like I never cleaned since I became Addison, but I didn't clean much. And I never cleaned when I was Adelaide, I wouldn't have been able to anyway.
