Chapter 226: Kalena's past 2

"You cannot do this to me, my lord!" little Kalena jolted awoke from her sleep hearing her mother's loud voice. She gingerly got down from her bed before walking towards her door. It took her a lot of effort to reach the door's handle with her small size, but she didn't give up. She couldn't give up because she had to go and see her mother. She didn't like leaving her mother all alone with her father when they fought. 

And when she managed to unlock the door and reached the living room, the sight that greeted her was her mother kneeling on the ground as she cried, "How could you.....!" her mother's heart-wrenching sobs broke Kalena's heart, "Why my lord?" then she watched as her mother's hatred filled eyes reached the other woman standing in the room, "You wench! How dare you! How dare you steal my husband...?"
