Chapter 22: Ch. 20 Important Question and Answer/Solution
Jotaro was in class the following day after awakening his Fullbring powers.
He was thinking of all the things he needs to do.
He needs to train his Bankai and his Fullbring powers. He also needs to practice his Kidos. But the first two being highest on the tiny list of various things
When he thinks about it as only 3 things it's not that bad. But it's the fact that they are not easy whatsoever. And they break down into further categories that have categories.
But he has a plan for his Kido and Bankai training. He just has to convince Tessai to teach him forbidden Kidos. Which shouldn't be hard. But the man is very careful in what he teaches.
He needs to learn forbidden Kidos that mess with time. He knows of one where you must slow down time and then you teleport a certain amount of people away. He knows that tampering with time isn't a smart thing, but he doesn't have the luxury of taking 10 years to master his Bankai. When the shit hits the fan, shit will go flying in every direction.
If he can learn to mess with time he can speed up time within a Kido barrier compared to the outside. He would be able to get more time per day this way. But that's when and if he can even do something about learning-
"Mr. Kujo. I know you don't need to pay attention but can you at least pretend to?"
Jotaro was sitting in his chair and looking out the window. He looks to the front of the class and sees his teacher standing next to the board that has various words on it. Apparently he was in History class currently. Great.
He was resting his cheek on his fist while his elbow was on the desk. He hadn't even bothered to take out any paper. Not a pencil or book either.
He sat up and crossed his arms over his chest and pretended to pay attention.
"Thank you, now back to the…." Misato goes back to teaching the class.
Jotaro may have seemed to be paying attention, but he was actually working on his Soul-Detector to get to know it. He was improving quickly but even so, it would take him a long time to get it to be useful.
The day ends and Jotaro leaves the classroom as the bell rang. He went straight to Urahara's shop to learn Kidos from Tessai, maybe even Urahara would teach him.
"Hmmmm, Urahara is much more loose lipped when it comes to illegal or bad things. But he's careful and cautious. Maybe even more so than Tessai at some points…" Jotaro stopped and spoke to himself to sort his thoughts.
"Have you finally gone crazy Jotaro?"
Jotaro hears Requis speak behind him. "Hello Yoruichi" He continues his walk and the black cat catches up to him and walks along with him.
"Hi Jotaro~. And you didn't deny being crazy" Yoruichi looks all the way up at Jotaros face.
"I'm having a conversation with a cat that has the deepest voice I have ever personally heard. If I'm not crazy the insane asylum is full of sane people" Jotaro says with a straight face.
"Good point. Now, I haven't really seen you lately. What have you been up to? Gotten lonely lately?" Yoruichi asks in a knowing and curious voice.
Jotaro looks at the cat and can almost see the sarcastic smugness on the cats face. "Ive been busy lately" He narrows his eyes at the cat. "And are you sure you aren't the lonely one?"
The cat jumps up to his shoulder and lightly lands beside his right ear. "I'm not afraid to admit that it's dull when you aren't at the shop"
Jotaro would rather hear those words from a female voice than Requis' deep, heavy, and rich voice. He shakes his head slightly. "When has me not being at the shop been making the place dull started?"
Yoruichi looks around trying to find the words. She hadn't really noticed it either. "Hmmmm-"
"Do not make that noise in my ear with that voice of yours" Jotaro commands.
"I was only trying to think of the answer. And the answer was probably when you started ditching me for school, or more specifically Rukia. But I guess you're at that age~, little Jotaro has grown up big and stro-" Yoruichi was talking in a whimsical tone. But it was off putting due to her purposely trying to talk in a deeper tone.
Jotaro grabbed her off his shoulder with his left hand. He held her out and she let her legs dangle down. "I do not appreciate you jumping to conclusions. And we're you watching me"
Jotaro had felt like he was being watched, but that's happened a lot for quite some time. He had thought he was too paranoid when he hadn't found anything. Damn cat was elusive even with his current sensing abilities, but if he can feel her soul…..He would need to test it later.
"You are 15. It's natural to be interested in the opposite gender" The cat narrows it's eyes. "Or even the same gender. That boy, Ichigo? You seemed pretty clo-"
"The next time I see you I WILL have a spray bottle and you WILL not be having a good hair day" Jotaro says in a tone that wasn't threatening, but promising what he said.
"It was a joke Jotaro~. No need to get so worked up over it….. Are you doing alright? You're more…..responsive today" Yoruichi's tone changes slightly, it was more playful before, but got serious when asking if he's alright.
"If you were watching me you know the answer to that. Do you really have nothing better to do than stalk a 15 year old?"
"A 15 year old that is built like you? A 15 year old with the power of a captain and can kill a Vasto Lorde? One that most other Captains would struggle against? Or the 15 year old boy that nearly got himself killed not even 24 hours ago?" Yoruichi holds up a claw per question on her right paw. "Yeah. I got nothing better to do"
"Yare Yare" Jotaro can't help but shake his hard and put the feline back on his shoulder.
"Did you expect me to deny it? Or to get all shy and defensive?" Yoruichi begins her questioning. "Do you like the flustered look a girl would have on when you confront her with your bluntness? Or the way a girl would a girl would blush at suggestive comments?" She pauses to gauge his reaction before continuing on.
"What does 'The Jotaro Kujo' find interesting in a woman?" Yoruichi drawls out.
Jotaro stops walking as he looks at the blue sky. "Why so interested all of a sudden? Kisuke normally is the one asking, then he says something and you either scratch him or leave. Most of the time both"
"Just curious….. Never really heard you answer. Kisuke and Jinta bet that you're gay. Tessai, Ururu and I bet you're straight" Yoruichi informs Jotaro. Not in an attempt to suck him on Kisuke.
Jotaro closes his eyes and lowers his head as he sighs. "So much is wrong with what you just said"
"Which part?" Questions a curious cat.
"The fact you guys are betting on my sexuality. The fact both Jinta AND Ururu were included in the betting. Maybe the fact a cat was wondering about my sexuality. And a few others" Jotaro opens his eyes and continues his walk, sliding his hands into his pockets after a few steps. "Guess I'll need to punish the losers of the bet" Jotaro says a low and quiet tone.
Yoruichi raises her cat brow. "And who shall be getting punished exactly?"
"Besides you for your previous comments?" Jotaro rhetorically asks. "Jinta and Kisuke. Jinta will get to help me test some Kidos while Kisuke can help me practice…..whatever I need to practice besides Kido"
Jotaro hears Yoruichi click her tongue and he can practically hear snap her 'fingers' and look away. Jotaro knew she hoped he forgot about her own punishment. "At least I know the answer now" She said under her breath.
Jotaro gets to the shop and opens the door as
"Their punishments will have to wait for now" Jotaro says as they get to the shop.
"Welcome!" Jotaro hears Kisuke as he opens the door. "Oh? Finally back? How goes it lover bo-"
Jotaro had thrown Yoruichi at Kisuke's face. Yoruichi lands all 4 paws on Kisuke's face as he falls backwards from his sitting position. Her claws maybe or maybe not digging in.
After Kisuke falls to the ground Yoruichi hops off his face and onto a counter as she sits.
"That's not how you great your boss after not coming to work for some time Jotaro" Kisuke pulls himself back up as he flicks his fan open covering his face that had claw marks.
"You said I could have a vacation. And it's part-time. I've had school and I've dropped by a few times so quit your complaining. I'll give you something to complain about after I punish you and Jinta for your little 'bet' you guys wagered on" Jotaro folds his arms and walks over to Kisuke and looks down at him.
Kisuke's eyebrow twitches slightly. "Oh~? You heard about that?" He says not with regret of betting but at being caught.
"Do we at least win the bet?" Kisuke tried to look at the bright side of things.
Jotaro wanted to show Kisuke a few techniques he's improved upon since they last sparred. But holds back. He closes his eyes as speaks. "I. Like. Women"
"Tch" Kisuke clicks his tongue and lowered the fan as he looked to the side realizing it's a lose-lose scenario. "Ok then" He looks up at Jotaro with a supremely serious face. Even moving his hat slightly. "Ass or tits?" He says maybe the most serious way Jotaro had heard him yet.
Tessai, Jinta, and Ururu all peaks their head around different corners. Tessai from the storage room. Ururu from the back of the shop. And Jinta from the front door. He was avoiding doing work and was at the side of the building hiding.
Jotaro notices the new gazes on him. And he does notice Yoruichis gaze harden as her eyes narrow.
But Jotaro hadn't looked away from Kisuke's eyes. "Is this a serious question Kisuke Urahara?" Jotaro asks in a neutral tone.
Kisuke flicks his fan open but doesnt cover his face. Instead deciding to fan himself with it. "VERY serious" He emphasizes as his eyes showing how serious is and the tone cementing that fact even more.
Jotaro doesn't move but only states at Kisuke as he stares back. Neither blinking and trying to come to a conclusion without words.
"Hhhaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh" Jotaro releases a long sigh. He closes his eyes. He puts his left hand in his pocket while his right hand moves his hat lower on his face but not covering his eyes. Once done fixing his hat he takes a step forward with his right leg and turns his body slightly to the left. He points his right index finger at Kisuke as his vibrant and glowing green eyes snap open as he glowers down at the shop owner.
The air around Jotaro bends slightly giving off a mirage look, like the heat coming off a road in the middle of the hottest day in summer as Jotaro strikes his signature pose.
"The answer depends on the woman" His body seemingly becoming more defined after his first words. "No one is greater than the other in general. But varying between women, certain assets will be held in a higher light than others. So your question is flawed to begin with and cannot be give a specific defined answer"
The room is silent as Jotaro's voice seemingly echoes through the entire shop. No other sounds are heard during or after Jotaro's answering statement.
Kisuke folds the fan and still has the serious look on his face. He puts the fan down and stands up. Not breaking eye contact with Jotaro.
Yoruichi's cat mouth actually hanging open and staring with her bright eyes at the scene before her. She's stunned at what is happening and will have to reboot depending on what happens next.
Kisuke takes a step closer to Jotaro as the latter lowers his arm to his side. They are close enough to shake hands at this distance now.
"You have passed the test, young Jotaro" Kisuke starts, preparing for his monologue. He holds his hands out to his sides. "You see, I started this whole thing to get an answer from you Jotaro. You never answered my questions or gave a meaningful and descriptive answer before. So I had to find a way to get one out of you. It wasn't easy, but now I know that you are in fact….." Kisuke smiles like an evil villain while monologuing. "…..a man of culture as well"
Tessai gives a thumbs up from the side in approval. Ururu is blushing slightly as Jinta has no idea what's going on. And Yoruichi.exe has stopped working, but is still recording the information.
Kisuke continues on: "Sure you could have said ass or tits and it would have been acceptable. But that's a basic bitch answer. But only true 'Men of Culture' give a more in depth answer"
Kisuke raises his arms and speaks louder. "There were no right or wrong answers! Everyone likes what they like! But it's how they answer the question that really matters!"
Jotaro squares his feet and stands facing Kisuke as he crosses his arms again.
"As long as an answer was given in depth, no matter which side a person chooses, the test would be passed. And your answer is beyond acceptable. It says a lot about a person based on how they answer. And you young Jotaro! Are also a 'Man of Culture' such as Tessai and myself!"
Kisuke throws his hands to the air like he's praising the sun in a grandiose pose.
"I will take this small loss today because I have gained something much more valuable than if I had won. Which I knew I would lose anyway. I received an answer to a very important question this day!"

I’m not sure how this chapter went down the path it did. But I like it.
This chap. Covered what it needed to and had Yoruichi pop up again.
Not to mention and Extremely Important question was answered
