Connor looked at the silver-haired woman who was staring at him, unfazed. Apart from her eyes twinkling with curiosity, the old healer didn't seem affected by the situation. The calm she spoke with was the only reason the WIA agent hadn't yet burst out laughing. There was no way what this stranger had just told him was true. There was no way though, how did she know his grandmother's name?

The man didn't know how to answer or what to do. His eyes turned to Glen and Eden who had relaxed a little. His friend's gaze was locked on him and it was as if the alpha was seeing him for the first time. This look hurt him and he looked away. Fists clenched, he opened his mouth but the healer cut him off.
