"Did you send the address to my mother?" Lara asked when she heard the doorbell.

She was positive that she came here running once she saw the message or he might be expecting someone?

"Yes." Ian replied."I will go to open the door, Don't get up" She added before he left the room to get the door.

Despite the pain that Lara smiled seeing him act like a worried boyfriend, She needed him at this delicate time in her life. She still hadn't told him the truth about her condition and that the doctors aren't so hopeful about her survival. He deserves to know the truth from her. 

Hearing her mother's voice, Lara wondered if Ian is nervous right since he was meeting her mother for the first time, But she had a feeling that he was more happy than nervous since she kept asking her when he could meet her parents when they were dating.
