"Hahaha! Forgive me for being heavy HANDED!" Irarus shouts as he brings his gem Warhammer down on the hapless Imperial soldier, the armoured man's body collapses into itself as the attack connects, as if he'd been placed in a hydraulic press.
Blood erupts from the mangled body, splattering the other Imperial soldiers who were unfortunate enough to witness the gory sight. Some instantly drop their weapons and begin fleeing while others go into a rage and charge the large Eredar.
"I'LL KILL YOU, ABOMINATION!" one man shouts, only to be shot by a dozen ice shards that throw him to the ground with many fist-sized holes being left as the ice dissipates.
"Less playing around, Irarus. We have a duty to do." Ennura chides as she thrusts her palm to the side, blasting another group of Imperial men with a wave of ice, flash-freezing them in place.
"Do not tell me you dislike fighting these invaders! We are not as powerless as last time! Revel in it!" he exclaims, raising his off-hand and throwing a summoned hammer made of light which crushes another man into pulp.
Ennura shakes her head, "I am not saying don't enjoy the battle, I am saying to keep it in moderation."
Irarus dodges a slash and allows another to glance off of his horns, he then headbutts the offending man which crushes his neck and kills him instantly. "Let us leave the discussions for after the battle! Continue your work and keep an eye on the recruits!" he says, charging forward like a rampaging elephant, leaving Ennura with the rest of the Eredar fighting force.
She lets out a sigh and turns her gaze upwards, over the largest concentration of Imperial men in her vicinity. "You heard Irarus men! Stay shard, stay together! Leave none behind!" she shouts as she summons an ice storm above the enemy, causing large shards of ice to fall down upon them.
"Watch out!" someone shouts from her side, allowing her to spot the formerly invisible Thalmor attempting to stab her with a dagger.
"WRETCH! YOU DIE HERE!" the elf shouts, lunging with the blade and hoping to strike her heart through her robes.
"I think not!" Ennura casually retorts, blasting the man with arcane energy which throws him backwards and atop the spears of her fellow Eredar. "Your kin will soon follow you, Thalmor!" she says as the elf is speared in many directions, quickly passing from the grievous wounds.
"Demon or elf, we will never be slaves." she mutters to herself.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Michael had quickly made his way to the rear guard of the Imperial force, there he found siege weapons being wheeled into position to begin firing upon the city, as if they didn't care that they'd be causing civilian casualties.
He ignites the nearby trebuchets and moves on, finding the many small groups of mages that were casting bombardment spells... Along with a few Thalmor that were leading those operations.
"Continue firing spells atop that barrier! Break it and burn those behind it! For the Empire!" the Thalmor commands, his face wincing slightly as he shouts the last words.
"I'm about to give this elf a new rectum, this remind you of the old days Derf?" Michael asks as he gets into position behind the Thalmor mage.
"It's vague, but I don't recall my previous wearers after striking elves from behind... Actually, they only killed one person from behind." the sentient sword says.
Michael shrugs, "Well, we wanna catch their attention... Why not try using your new shout once I've thrust you?"
"You are a dastardly evil person, partner..."
"I know..." he says with a grin, stabbing Derflinger deeply into the back of the Thalmor, deep enough so Derflinger's Aetherium head is lodged within the wound.
"W-wh-at!?" the elf whispers in shock, unable to be any louder due to one of his lungs collapsing.
"No, it's 'You should have gone for the head'" Michael states.
"D-damn you..."
Michael shakes his head, "Whatever, boring guy. Derflinger, hit it!" he exclaims as the other mages begin noticing him.
Then, a muffled "FUS RO DAH!" is heard, followed by the Thalmore exploding into a rain of blood, bits and pieces of his body raining down upon the nearby Imperials.
"OH GODS, MONSTAH!" one man screams before vomiting, which is followed by many others. Mages weren't the most gutsy sort, so seeing someone literally evaporate after being stabbed was a big shock...
Huh, would people think that getting stabbed by him makes them explode? That'd be a funny thing to encourage.
"Who's next!? Who wants to join your Thalmor buddy!?"
...
"KILL EMMMMM!"
Michael raises his arm as spells begin flying at him, his Auroth-gifted scales blocking most of the damage while he swats some of the more powerful spells away with Derflinger, the sentient swords absorbing their magic with far greater efficiency than it ever could before.
He Blinks forwards and touches one of the more powerful mages on the chest while activating his [Wynningbaldr] runes. It goes as expected, the man screams and explodes in a similar manner to the Thalmor earlier.
"DIVINES SAVE US! I'M NOT FIGHTING THIS BEAST!" a mage exclaims and begins fleeing, not wishing to end up 'exploded' like his comrades.
Michael summons his Frost Wings and flies upwards to look around for the douche-bag Thalmor that'd been so cocky during the negotiations. Despite the chaos of the battle, he does eventually spot the elf, who seemed to be trying to conceal himself with the bodies of his allies, the man's eyes occasionally flitting to Michael.
"Gotcha." he grins and is about to turn the man to mulch when something else catches his eye... Thick black plumes of smoke were rising from the city behind him... Winterhold was burning.
"What the fuck..." he turns towards the Thalmor who'd noticed Michael's gaze and starts running.
In response, Michael begins gliding towards the Thalmor, all the while slapping away arrows that were shot at him.
Soon enough he grabs the back of the robed elf's head in a tight grip which was almost enough to crush his skull on the spot. "You're coming with me, buddy."

Earlier :
Tiffania and Megumin were stationed at the backlines under a makeshift tarp, the former to help heal those injured in battle, and the latter to recover her energy from her initial explosion spell.
Sure, Megumin had improved greatly during her time in Tamriel, but doing such vast amounts of damage still took the air out of her. She could probably manage another, but she'd pass out as soon as she did so.
"Megumin, he was struck by poison, pass the antidote!" the half-elf says as she treats a Nord who was missing his eye.
"Which one!?" the sweaty explosion girl asks while gesturing to the shelf filled with vials, having already been run ragged despite not being an active combatant.
"I don't know, just use the universal one!" Tiffania says, unsure which poison had been used. In cases like this, she was forced to use the more expensive universal antidotes, which they only had a small quantity of.
Tiffania forces the potion down the man's throat and checks him over with an analysis spell. She nods in satisfaction as the potion begins working, only taking the time to bandage the man's eye before moving on to the next person.
She looks up for a moment, chewing her lip in thought, "Where is Miss Umnii? She should've been back by now."
"Maybe she got caught up healing someone else? There's a lot of injured people!" Megumin guesses, but she's proved greatly mistaken when the dup spots smoke nearby, all but declaring that a fire was starting.
"Anno... Should we get that?" Megumin asks, unsure if they should leave their post.
Tiffania nods, "Everyone else is busy, none of the other healers is any good at fighting either... Let's go."
With that, the duo make their way out of the medical area and rush down the street until they find a burning building with many unconscious bodies in front of it. Some civilians and the few guards left to defend the town seem to have tried to fight off whoever was responsible for this... At great cost too, as they discovered that many of the people had already succumbed to their wounds.
"We need to tell the others! There's no point fighting if there's no town to go back to!" Megumin says as begins looking around cautiously.
"We need to help these people first! Do you have any spells to stop the fire?" Tiffania asks as she begins checking the people, leaving the dead while trying to heal the survivors.
"N-no, I don't." Megumin solemnly admits, she'd focussed almost entirely on Destruction spells, never giving real thought to Restoration...
The half-elf sighs and stands, "Give them your potions, I'll stop the fire!" she says, raising her wand and beginning the incantation for the vacuum spell she'd learned from Brimir's Prayer Book.
"No you don't!" someone suddenly shouts, jumping down from the roof of a nearby building with a dagger in hand.
Tiffania isn't able to do anything as the man falls atop her, though, for some reason the man had elected to avoid stabbing her?
"You're coming with me, whore!" the man who was wearing light elven armour growls as he grabs a handful of Tiffania's golden hair.
"Get off of her!" Megumin shouts, abandoning the survivors and raising her staff at the Altmer, who lifts Tiffania and positions her in front of him as a meatshield.
"Go on girl, shoot and kill your friend." he says while giving a toothy grin. "Do it, I don't care for the life of this half-breed anyway!"
Megumin scowls and looks at Tiffania who was sliding her hand towards the hidden pocket of her robes. "Let her go and I will burn you alive!"
"Haha! Try it, chil-" the Altmer starts but is cut off as Tiffania stabs her Blink Dagger backwards into the gap of the man's armour, stabbing his hip and causing him to let go of her. She then activates the Blink Dagger and appears next to Megumin, who'd already launched her spell. "DIE, PIG!"
*THWOOM!*
"AAAARRRRRRGGHIIIIYAAAAA!!!" the elf goes up in flames as Megumin had promised, her fireball striking true and causing him to begin rolling along the ground in agony.
"Are you okay!?" Megumin asks in relief as she looks over Tiffania.
"I think so... I'll have to thank Michael and Saeko for their tips to use daggers..." she mutters.
"Hmph! I knew Clesil was useless, but not to the extent of being killed by two little girls!" a voice echoes out in the street, prompting the duo to look over.
They spot a few robed Thalmor standing on a nearby roof, both quickly dropping into a combat stance.
"We've already secured the blue girl, so come with us willingly or I'll be forced to break your arms and legs first." he arrogantly demands.
"I don't think so!" Megumin shouts as she uses one of the only frost spells she knows, firing a barrage of knife-sized shards at the group... The spell is blocked via a Ward however, forcing Tiffania to act.
"You've forced me to use this... Rasengan!" she intones before jabbing her wand at them, using a weaker version of the spell in order to not destroy a portion of the city.
The Thalmor are caught off-guard due to their ward failing them, Tiffania's spell bypasses it and appears under their feet, rising upwards and instantly tearing the legs from three of them.
Two men manage to escape the blender-like winds that form, only to watch in tortured fascination as their allies' bodies are mulched into red paste, smearing the walls of the nearby building in new rancid red paint.
