Chapter 4: Overconfidence Is Not Healthy :)

I appeared in an empty room the floors were made out of smooth wood and the air was stale. I looked around and saw four doors, and on the floor, there were some instructions. They seemed very simple there was a picture of me doing multiple things.
I then realized that I was in the Binding Of Isaac after I looked at those poorly drawn images I then took out my horn and walked into one of the rooms. The room was above me and in it, there were two fat people who had grey skin and grunted.
I then took up my horn and ran to one of them and stabbed them in the eye. I then was knocked back by...A fart. I then ran again and aimed the horn at the neck of the fat man I stabbed its head and then it exploded into a pile of guts
I held back the feeling of throwing up and moved on to the next enemy. I stabbed the fat man in the head and pushed the horn to his brain. The man also exploded into a pile of guts. I heard the door unlock telling me that I beat every enemy in this room.
I then sat down on the floor and breathed in and out. I calmed down after half an hour I then stood up and walked to the next room I then saw that there were two other rooms one being the item room and the other being the Boss room.
I was faced with two humans with wide eyes and blood leaking out of them. They looked very disturbing to me I looked at the red crack beside me and smiled.
'So my ability also comes with me when I enter the dungeon that will make this a lot easier!' I thought as I walked on the red crack and let the ghost out.
The ghost flew towards the Gaper and when they connected it caused a beautiful red explosion. I felt like a certain explosion lover would love to have this ability. Well, there was still one left I felt confident in taking this one down myself.
I held the horn I wasn't experienced with weapons. And the way how I fought showed that I held the horn like a kitchen knife and I had many openings so much in fact that if someone were to fight me I would probably get pummeled.
But I was lucky that these enemies weren't that intelligent. They had intelligence that could only be compared to a zombie. So currently they were my match I walked to the Gaper and stabbed it in the neck it didn't mind and was still moving forward. It swung its arms at me mostly missing but when it did land a hit it hurt like hell.
I tried to decapitate the Gaper but was not strong enough to do so. I took out the knife and then stabbed the Gaper in the head multiple times. I looked at the dying Gaper and its 28 stab wounds.
I then stabbed it one last time and like the others, it exploded. I looked as the Item room opened I entered the door and saw a stone pedestal with an item floating above it. It seemed to be a small pink fetus demon?
It had two red eyes and had reddish skin I recognized it as Gello. Gello is an item that lets you shoot out a fetus that will shoot tears and can whip enemies to also deal damage. So I took it I looked at the left corner and saw a charge bar and the item.
When I looked away from it or when I wasn't focusing on it the image would disappear. I then saw that Gello was fully charged I decided to go to the boss. I opened the door and a message appeared in front of me.
<*EXCURSION VS MONSTRO*>
I looked in front of me at the tanky blob-like creature that was Monstro. It spat out a bunch of red liquid at me I moved to the side and used Gello on it.
*THWIP!*
The sound of Gello coming out and hitting Monstro was satisfying. It also did a decent amount of damage. I could freely control Gello, I started to shoot at Monstro while running to one of the red cracks.
A ghost came out and exploded on Monstro leaving it with only a sliver of HP. I was confident so far these creatures have been easy to deal with.
I ran up to Monstro with my horn ready to deal the killing blow. But Monstro opened his mouth and bit down on my arm.
My aura became visible it was darkish red and then a bunch of cracks appeared over it. It then shattered and Monstro bit down into my arm.
Excursion: "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Monstro was beginning to swallow me. 'I'm not fucking dying!!!' I thought as I pulled my arm out and stabbed Monstro in the eye I dug the horn into its eye I pushed further and further with adrenaline rushing through my vines.
I then killed Monstro guts fell on the floor as a trapdoor and a stone pedestal with an item spawned.
Excursion: "Damn it... Why did I have to be so damn confident! I won't let that happen again. I'm lucky that I only lost my arm."
I thought while looking at my torn-off arm. It was numb in that area but I still felt some pain but it was mostly a light burning sensation. 'Can I leave the Dungeon System?' I thought as the System responded to me.
[You may leave but you will only be allowed to return next week. Also, you currently have one Carry Over Card do you wish to use it?]
Excursion: "What is a Carry Over Card?"
[Well Carry Over Cards allow the user to choose an item that they obtained in the Dungeon over to the real world.]
'Well, I guess I'll use it on Gello.' I thought as a card appeared in front of me and ripped in half. I then watched as the pieces of the card vanished. I then saw a blinding light cover me and when it was gone I was back in Herrah's room.
