How did This happen when did they attack didn't we send the scroll just a few hours ago geez what did old man Poroporo write anyway all I remember is him and Mamon saying they will handle it. and now the village is under attack.
I rush over to an old man and what must be his grandchildren running from one of the invaders I reach them in time knocking out the attacker it wasn't enough to kill but I don't think it's likely that there will be many survivors left best make sure even if killing the bastard would be best.
The old man and the children were thanking me endlessly I told them to head for the safe house I quickly leaped to where I heard the most screaming I smack myself on the head for leaving without verifying if they were injured or telling someone stronger to escort them geez I never was great at rescuing missions but I always was great at fighting.
I am meat with a surprise attack that I easily dodge my attacker is shocked using that to my advantage I drive my claw through the heart the attacker dies instantly as he moves on he was meat with several other attackers but they were all rubber to him.
Once he reached the village hall he sees Tanra and the rest of his team fighting attackers they seemed to be having trouble
Tanra took out one of them to be met with another Dore was using his speed to avoid many attacks the twins attacked and defended in unison.
Ronlo looked for the elder and Mamon and just as he asked they appeared or rather Mamon was charging through buildings and then the elder threw attackers through them
I joined them and we managed to chase them not before one threw something at the use it was a scroll I quickly picked it up and schemed through my eyes widened.
Poroporo and the others approached me curious as to what I was reading. Poroporo was about to speak but I punched him square in the face this both pushed him back and angered him.
the others were shocked and Mamon was about to act as if he couldn't tolerate such disrespect to his teacher but Poroporo raised his hand signaling him to stop.
I couldn't believe I acted in such a way it wasn't like me to just act like that I should have at least questioned him about the contents of the scroll first.
Ronlo: my apologies Elder I don't know what came over me but this scroll had me emotional for a second I ask your forgiveness
the best thing for me to do now is quickly apologizing In case I attacked him falsely.
He stocked his grey Beard " what is there to apologize for young the feeling of a fierce battle is difficult to surprise it can even make one emotion difficult to control even if I had that problem in my youth now tell me what is on that scroll.
The others were relieved the situation didn't escalate Ronlo never acted like this before so they were curious about what he read that was causing him such emotions.
Reading the letter out loud the contents consisted of the justification the invaders had and how the elder acted to justify them with his letter that was threatening Their peace
and how he rejected the peaceful alternative they proposed the letter even spoke of South Taccoon becoming like its eastern neighbor this angered Dore and Mamon.
Ronlo Dore and Tanra each looked at each other then at them Poroporo who rubbed his grey Beard and sighed "if you have questions ask now I may never answer them later so speak whilst I still feel like speaking.
Ronlo was the first to speak
Ronlo: why would you reject the peaceful alternative why did you agree with this war?
Poroporo: This peaceful alternative they proposed was one that solely benefited them swearing allegiance to northerners nonsense all they plan to do is turn us into their puppets to do with as they please my people are proud they would never accept such a thing as becoming north puppets look at what they did to the West
Ronlo: if so why didn't you explain it to them like that why did you insult and threaten them why didn't you try and push for a more diplomatic solution?
Poroporo sighed: huh you young ones and your new methods of solving things listen here you think they would have been willing to talk and make a compromise they would have continued to demand our subduction and would you accept that.
Ronlo: you are just making assumptions if we had chosen a more diplomatic path we could have negotiated something that benefits us both
Poroporo: and why should I look for something that benefits my attacker hmm?
Ronlo: so that they don't see it as necessary to find benefits through a war that will kill thousands because of your pride and refusal to make a compromise.
Poroporo: I would never compromise with someone who wants to control my people never or are you saying you would rather be controlled and exploited.
Ronlo: that is not what I am saying all I am saying is that I do not believe it wise to fight a war we cannot win the North and west are powerful and the east and south battled them together and held our own just five years ago in the war five years ago we have bearly recovered and you choose to plunge us into another war
not to mention Our eastern village was destroyed by some unknown monster in a single night and our warriors and elder one of the strongest warriors to have ever lived was killed by that monster we barely have ten warriors left and with this attack, many of yours must have been lost no they were I saw them die was nearly wiped out and the war hasn't even started yet what of when thousands of warriors march to our front door what will you do.
Poroporo was silent for some time
Poroporo: the people will fight and protect Their home.
Ronlo: the people that cried tires of joy when the war ended five years ago only to be told to Jump into another the same people that were running and screaming when the enemy invaded Their homes and slaughtered them will fight the same people who died tonight will fight?
. Poroporo: yes because t this night they will this was the motivation they needed to fight they needed to see the cruelty of the North first had to remind them of five years ago and why we fight in the first place
Ronlo stared at Poroporo with a fire burning in his eyes if looks could kill he would have slaughtered Poroporo he was even willing to try to kill him then and there he even raised his hand to strike the heat but immediately Dore stood before him with conviction in his eyes
Ronlo: move Dore
Dore:" no Ronlo I refuse to bow to those monsters look at what they did and you want to talk to them?"
Ronlo looked at Dore with disappointed eyes
Ronlo: this happened because we refused to talk now look around we chose violence so they responded with violence.
Dore shook his head: no no no no this happened because the north still exists what if they can control the monster that destroyed our village. if they use it on us.
Ronlo: if they have such a monster we should avoid war we will not win
Tanra and her sisters stood behind Ronlo as she seemed to agree with him more Mamon stood behind Poroporo as he had been learning from him since he was young they shared the same ideals and he didn't agree with Ronlo in the slightest. The atmosphere was becoming tense as a. crowd began to form made up of the remaining Taccoons there were less than half of the previous villagers but they were curious about what was happening it took Their minds away for a time but they're being there only made things more intense with Their murmurs.
Ronlo looked at the group Infront t of him Dore, Poroporo and Mamon then he looked at the crowd among them were warriors that would attack the moment he struck Poroporo outside the context of a dule he could handle Dore and many of the warriors, not all Poroporo would be difficult but he could manage but the real threat was Mamon especially if he went savage mode.
he had Tanra and her sisters but even still Mamon is extremely powerful.
Back to the real world, Dore was arguing with Tanra about virtue and the right Acton to make. and as he was thinking of a way to convince Dore what he was doing was wrong he felt a sharp pain in his stomach it was pierced by something looking down Ronlo frowned there was a claw piercing into his stomach through Dore who had been stabbed by Mami who had a massive grin on his face
Ronlo quickly leaped back along with the sisy and Mamon threw Dore's now lifeless body to the ground Ronlo did what he could to avoid Mamon who would dominate the fight especially due to the injury he caused.
the twins attempted to attack in unison but Mamon grabbed each of them then slammed Their skills together before using Their bodies to attack Tanra who rushed at him with rage she attacked viciously even landing multiple hits and slightly pushing Manon back until he returned with his powerful blows
He threw a punch that landed on her abdomen he pressed to pick her up and slam her to the ground as he did so Ronlo leaped at him piercing Mamon's liver with his claws then he started clawing at him but with no luck as Mamon began to throw powerful blows that Ronlo could not afford to get hit by he used his limited knowledge of ki control to speed himself up and strengthen his blows to match Mamons he could not hold on much longer
But as if on cue Tanra jumped behind Mamon and clawed at his eyes blinding him Ronlo took this chance and shot him with a small ki blast this did fair damage sending Mamon flying past Poroporo who stroked his long grey Beard eyes fixed on the battle but it wasn't enough as Mamon got back up growing larger with his eyes gone he was enraged and on the brink of going savage
He opened his mouth wide as a ki blast began to charge Ronlo grabbed Tanra who was about to charge at Mamon screaming for her to hurry they could fight another day she tried to resist but eventually gave up on fighting Mamon and ran with Ronlo.
Mamon sent the blast Their way fortunately they dogged in at the last minute.
BOOM!!! the explosion formed a small mushroom cloud at the edge of the village cafe the village had been destroyed.
The villagers were in shock and Ronlo and Tanra only ran as far as they could Ronlos injuries were deep he stopped the bleeding best he could with ki but he was losing stamina by the second Tanra carried him for some time after he collapsed.
They were heading east to Their old home currently under the control of Arrot

Anyway unrelated it was raining heavily when I wrote this and I felt like sleeping the whole time but I beat the lazy and made this please leave a comment about the chapter or whatever you want we can just talk if you want no need to be a stranger my dear internet stranger
