The three men were startled to see a parchment pop up suddenly in front of them and even more when they had least expected to get a response from Nathalie this quickly. From Zavid's earlier words, they had already deduced that it would take some time for Nathalie to respond to them and they had prepared themselves to wait as long as they could, even though Azimir was at his wit's ends. Who knew that Nathalie would reply soon after and surprise them this way?

The one who was shocked the most was Zavid. Never had he expected his mate to reply this quickly, not when he had never received her reply this quickly before. The woman had taken her time to write back to him, making him lose his mind from all the waiting.
