"Wretched!" I shouted and threw another antique on the floor. If this keeps up, every antique in the castle will cease to exist.

I didn't care.

Anything to appease my anger and frustration was welcome.

He really pulled a fast one at me.

From all the pureblood, he just had to ask Rhazien's help, and I couldn't believe that the Prince would actually come to his aid.

Rhazien never mingled with the purebloods life except maybe if our existence was threatened.

It was not like I was going to kill Charles. I thought and checked my claws, coiled with dark shadows. I was just going to see his face break into agony, tis' all.

With a single swiped, dozens of newly turned fell on the floor, their bodies turned to ashes and disappeared. The others shrieked and trembled, scattering away from me. As if by doing so, they'd be safe from my shadows.
