Chapter 135: Chapter 134 - Indigo League; Finals [IV]
[Wow. What a wonderful battle this was. Itsuki managed to turn things around with his Sylveon. Both Pokemon gave their all in this battle which resulted in a draw.]
[Now Cynthia has three more Pokemon left while Itsuki has 4 more Pokemon. Itsuki is currently leading the game. It would be interesting to see how Cynthia manages to turn things in her favor. Also we shouldn't forget about her level 46 Garchomp.]

Itsuki ignored the commentators words as he didn't wanted to stree himself by thinking about Garchomp. Garchomp is the most challenging thing that Itsuki was going to face till now. Itsuki felt he shouldn't think about Garchomp and pressure himself. The most important thing that a trainer needs have in a Pokemon battle is calmness. For example Gary, Paul both lost their calm and lost their battles after taking some rush decisions.

Both Cynthia and Itsuki took out their pokeballs at the same time. With a 'click' sound both Pokeballs opened and released the Pokemon inside both Pokeballs.
Zeraora!
Floatzel!
[Woooo! Look what we have here. Cynthia's Floatzel, who Cynthia took out during the semi-finals while on the other side we have Itsuki's [Goat] Pokemon Zeraora who has won all the battles so far. This match will be interesting to see as Itsuki has type advantage over Floatzel. Even though Zeraora's level is only 40 she had shown us that one shouldn't judge a Pokemon's strength solely based on its level. Being a mythical Pokemon, Zeraora's mastery over lightning gives her a huge advantage against a water type Pokemon Floatzel.]

[Jerry, I am surprised to see Itsuki using his main card at the middle of a battle. I mean Zeraora is undoubtedly Itsuki's strongest Pokemon and she has proven this fact many time in this Indigo League. I was very surprised to see Itsuki using his main Pokemon at the middle of this important match when normally trainers use their strongest Pokemon at the last. The ending round of a Pokemon battle is the most important and deciding part of a match, I feel Itsuki should have reserved Zeraora for the final round where Cynthia is going to use her strongest Pokemon.]

"Cynthia this time I will start the battle. Zeraora use grass knot." Seeing thick green roots coming out of the ground from all directions, surrounding Floatzel Cynthia ordered Floatzel to use Fury cutter. Floatzel cut all the roots with his fury cutter.
"Now use lightning blast" Zeraora put her both palms together. She then made a sphere between her palms which was made out of blue lightning. Then a blue lightning was shot towards Floatzel. The lightning attack was so fast that even Cynthia couldn't see it coming.

Bang!
The lightning blast hit Floatzel and sent him flying more than 20 meters back. All this time Floatzel had no idea when the lightning attack hit.
[What a powerful lightning strike]
Cynthia hurriedly looked at Floatzel, only to find her Pokemon lying on the ground with blood coming out of his mouth. Floatzel chest area was roosted charcoal black and some of his ribs fractured.

Just a simple attack yet so powerful. Cynthia once again realized how powerful Zeraora had become. In that attack, Zeraora didn't even use her Aura. The attack was a clear example of Zeraora's power.
"Floatzel can you continue?" Cynthia asked with a concerned look. Cynthia sighed in relief when she saw her Pokemon slowly standing up. At least Floatzel was still in the battle.
"Floatzel return."

Seeing Cynthia recalling her Pokemon, Itsuki immediately guessed why she did this. 'Cynthia wants to use her Floatzel to face my other Pokemon.' Zeraora's strength was on complete different league when compared to his other Pokemon so Cynthia must have saved Floatzel even though he is injured, to fight his other weak Pokemon.
"Zeraora come back." Everyone was left baffled when they saw Zeraora walking back and sitting next to Itsuki. They couldn't understand why Itsuki would recall Zeraora when she was dominating and pressuring Cynthia.

Then both Cynthia and Itsuki again threw their pokeballs in the air.
Click!
Lucario!
[Itsuki has called his Lucario as for Cyn....]
Garchomp!
Garchomp loudly roar aftering coming out of the Pokeball. Garchomp directly ignored Lucario and locked his gaze with Zeraora. Zeraora saw that Garchomp was looking at her with pure arrogance. Zeraora certainly didn't liked the look that Garchomp was giving her. She coldly looked at Garchomp as blue lightning began to flicker around her body.

Itsuki noticed the gaze that Garchomp was giving Zeraora. Itsuki didn't bother to intervene as he knew sometimes rivalry between Pokemon is necessary to push a Pokemon. Also Itsuki didn't see any other kind of emotions; Garchomp was only telling her that he is stronger than her.
'Let's check on Garchomp stats first.' Right now Itsuki was in a tight situation as he wasn't allowed to switch his Pokemon until a certain amount of time has passed. That's why Cynthia also didn't switched her Floatzel before the battle began. These rules were absolute and violating these rules would disqualify the trainer.

"Garchomp start the battle with Dragon Breath." Garchomp opened his mouth and released a thick, green beam towards Lucario. The beam continued to expand as it approached Lucario.
"Lucario dodge quick" Itsuki panicked on seeing how fast Garchomp attack was.
Lucario eyes widened at the very last moment, all he saw was standing in front of a wave of green beam that threatened to destroy him. At the very last moment, Lucario heard his Itsuki's voice and then
Boom!

[What an attack! So fast. I don't think Lucario even was able to see it coming.]
Sigh!
Itsuki sighed seeing that his Lucario was defeated in just one move. Before Itsuki also had defeated his opponent in one move. Now that someone else had defeated his Pokemon in one move made him realize how his opponents felt when he also did the same.
Zeraora on the other hand felt her blood boiling as she saw the Pokemon whom she treated as her little brother get knocked out in one move.

Lucario's current condition was very worse. His entire body has been burned due to the heat of the dragon breath.
[Lucario is unable to battle.] As soon as the referee said those words, the emergency team hurriedly approached Lucario and feed him a high grade healing potion and then carried him away.
Zeraora! [Master let me fight him.] Zeraora couldn't accept the fact that her brother was defeated in front her. She wanted to fight Garchomp and release her anger.

"No, it's not the perfect time." Zeraora after hearing Itsuki's words shut her mouth and angrily glared at Garchomp. Cynthia sighed in relief as she had finally managed to make things even with Itsuki. Now both Itsuki and she had 3 Pokemon left.
"Garchomp return"
[What a comeback. Both trainers now has 3 Pokemon left. WIth Garchomp, the chances of Cynthia winning this year's Indigo League looks very strong.]

Just like before both trainers threw out their pokeballs in the air at the same time.
Floatzel!
Marshadow!
[Marshadow and Floatzel. Marshadow is still injured from his battle with Roserade while Floatzel injury was caused by Zeraora. It would be interesting to see who wins this match.] Compared to Marshadow, Floatzel condition looked much worse. Because of his fractured ribs, Floatzel speed has been decreased.

"Floatzel use Rain dance." Floatzel let out a loud roar while looking at the sky. As if the whether is obeying Floatzel command, the sky began to dark. In just few seconds, rain began to fall from the sky. Under the rain, Floatzel now looked much better than before.
"Now use hydro Pump" Floatzel opened his mouth to fire hydro pump.
"Dodge it." Unlike other Pokemon, Marshadow's dodging style is different. Marshadow hide into his shadow before the hydro pump could hit him.

"Now you Assurance." Seeing that smile on Itsuki's face Cynthia had a bad feeling about it. So started to look for Marshadow's only to realize that under the dark clouds finding Marshadow's shadow was nearly impossible.
Since the sunlight as been blocked, Itsuki now was able to use Marshadow's natural ability to the max. Cynthia would have no way of knowing from where Marshadow was going to attack since she can't spot his shadow under the dark clouds.
