Chapter 165: CLXVI: the coronation plan

Selene tried to persuade her over and over and she decided to bring the Queen mermaid in to talk to her since she felt guiltily compelled to.

The mermaid succeeded in persuading her enough to eat and she took on herself a duty to see that Aurora took a daily walk to the garden in the palace.

That worked for the same reason Selene believed it would. Since the mermaid Queen kept a close watch on her, she was forced to take some time off for self-care.

Most of the women in the palace knew that there was something serious going on in Aurora's chamber but they knew nothing of what they did not know about the reason behind the heavy blanket of tension that lay in Aurora's chamber.

It made them very careful about their behavior when Aurora was around. Walking down the corridor, they had to take gentle quiet steps.

They walked quietly before but avoided unnecessary smiles and noise. They picked their words more carefully.
