Chapter 107: The nature of that power

"Stop it," he warned her firmly when he noticed the tangled web slowly detangling.

Running, he wrapped his hand around her waist and ran towards the window and without a second thought, he jumped down.

Aurora did not have time to thing of the fact that he just threw them both out of the window down three floors below. She closed her eyes because at this point, she could not feel her powers anymore.

During the time she spent learning with his audience, she has found out how to feel the presence of her powers. It was a part of her that she could expel and absorb back into her filled with warmth, a very good type of warmth.

It always made her feel energetic and fearless and with it gone now, she was scared of what will happen to her since she could not survive such a fall with that powers.

However when they landed, she fell directly against his chest. She raised her head after the initial shock and met his gaze with her brow furrowed.
