"Your room was set on fire on your way there. Haven't you ever thought that they might have known about your mission and tried to stop you?"
Aurora looked down at her finger sadly.
"I guess a supernatural found out about you plan and the mission and went to prevent you from arriving safely in their kingdom."
"Who might have let them know?"
"I think the seer has not told you all you need to know about those supernaturals. They don't need your permission to know everything about you.
"They might even be eavesdropping right now but we can't see or sense their presence that is why it relevant to end their existence.
"Their king is their source of protection. The stronger he is, the stronger they grow."
"I will kill him. Send me to them with a proper plan so I could kill him."
The king could almost not hold back the triumphant smile that threatened to lift the corners of his lips which would have appeared very inappropriate at the moment.
"Are you sure you can do that? You will definitely be taken a prisoner and criminal. It will be hard to arrive in their kingdom completely both physically and psychologically."
She felt she understood what her uncle was saying as she raised her head and looked at him very determined.
Seeing her expression he experienced another difficulty at holding back his smile and he turned slightly away holding back with a grieving expression on his face.
"I can not let you die in vain. I will find away to bring the prince you can go back to you chamber."
She gave him a surprised and confused expression. "Is there a way for us to rescue the prince without a war?
"So many lives will be lost both those of the soldiers and commoners. People will die because of me and in the worse scenario, they will take over our kingdom.
"That is something they have always wanted to do. Crossing into their territory and stabbing their king is enough reason why they should start a very bloody war.
"I think they gave us a chance by taking the prince. I have to start my journey immediately or they might kill the prince."
"What do you know? Those supernaturals will kill you before you get there. It will be of no use if you die on the way. They will suspect we killed you and that will be a major reason for them to start the war."
Aurora got annoyed by the fact that her uncle was hesitating to send her to the werewolves to release her innocent cousin brother.
"I will do it right. I will not get killed. I will fight for my life to the end until I have my knife buried in the chest of their king."
The king's palm itched to clap for the determination he saw in the princess's eyes.
This was something she lost from the moment he saw her in his throne room when she returned.
She looked like she was fed up of living and that was not the Aurora he needed to orchestrate his plans.
He finally has with full desire to survive and life with the aim of killing the Alpha king back on her mind.
He was sure that if she knew the thoughts of his heart, she will definitely feel a strong urge to chop his head off if not do it immediately.
She was finally back. She sighed secretly and leaned back against his seat.
Aurora noticed all these for she could not identify why he would give such a reaction.
She concluded he did it because he was not convinced enough and perhaps tired of her whining.
"I promise you and my late parents that I won't fail you for any reason at all. I will not make the same mistake twice. I will be sure to follow your plan flawlessly."
The king could feel his eyes get clouded by tears when he saw how he finally won the princess back.
One thing he was sure of was that Aurora's life will be protected as soon as she steps into their kingdom.
No one will be willing to harm her both human and supernaturals once she steps into their territory so with her determination to survive through the journey, there won't be any mishaps, right?
"I will do all I can to ensure that the prince returns to the palace even if I have to come up with an escape plan."
"I will come up with the right plan," the king reminded her of her promise to act according to his plan.
She looked down at her fingers and remained silent.
This time there has to be no error or glitches. It was certain that they won't easily let her off the hook if she does another assassination attempt on the Alpha King.
"You are dismissed. You can begin to get ready. We will announce your departure to satisfy everyone possible. I will come up with a plan so you could begin your journey tomorrow latest."
"I am sorry about all the troubles I have caused."
The king ignored her apology as he felt there has to be a limit to the deceitful words and act he uses to trap the princess.
She might be too innocent knowing nothing of the both dangerous and important true identity she had but it will be the end of his kingdom's reign if she opens her mouth and curse his kingdom.
She was only a kingdom and two weeks away from helping him fulfill his dream, his childhood dream of conquering the werewolf king and find that great being that gives immortality.
"You are dismissed," the king told her seriously.
She bowed after before walking out of the Royal study. She was going for it, save the prince by arriving safely in their kingdom and killing the Alpha to complete her mission.
As the door closed behind her, she sighed and looked back for a split second.
Whatever made him give the reaction he gave most also lie in the kingdom she was headed, right?
