She did not feel good about this at all. If she can't find Helen, she will not be able to go on her journey. She could not just leave the forest knowing her one and only companion was lost in the forest.
She searched the part they came into the palace through while calling out Helen's name as loud as she could.
She did not see Helen even after she got to the entrance of the forest. It was getting dark and she was yet to find Helen.
She knew Helen won't simply run off on her own. Something bad must have happened to her to make her disappear for this long.

"Are you looking for her?" she heard a familiar voice inform her in the dark when she still kept looking for her maid even when it was dark that she could not see properly even with the fire lamp she held.
"Seer," she said when she turned and faced her teacher who pointed at Helen who was sleeping beside a bonfire in a cave.
That must be the cave she was looking for. She has gone round over and over again but she never noticed there was a cave close to where she was searching.
"Your maid is sleeping," The seer said with a smile. "You should be thanking me. I saved her life," the seer continued.
"I know, thanks. How did you get here?" Aurora had to ask her teacher who seemed to be at home in the forest.
She wondered if her teacher has been following her right from when she started her journey.
"I rode my horse. Your horse is tied over there," her teacher simply replied as she walked into the cave.
"Did you conceal your presence from me?" Aurora continued to ask her questions.
"Yes, I did it but not because of you but because of the inhuman in this forest. You are surrounded by a lot of inhuman. Your uncle has no idea that his kingdom actually has a lot more inhuman than he is aware of," Darlene informed her.
"I thought you could not leave the kingdom because you made a deal with him? Did you escape?" Aurora continued her questions as she found a stone to sit down on in the cave.
"My deal is over after all you are on the way to practice what I taught you. You might not get hurt but your maid Helen is definitely a perfect target for any predator both supernatural and natural. Why did you bring her along with you? She will only distract you. Are you willing to let her die because of you?"
"I tried to stop her but she won't yield. I will definitely protect her with my life. Besides she is not as weak as you think she is," Aurora replied seriously.
She really tried to make Helen stay back in the palace but since Helen had her mind made up none of her words could make her change her mind.
"She is definitely weaker than you so that means she won't be able to protect her just like when she disappeared. She will only delay your journey. You must arrive early, it is best you do," Darlene continued. She did not want Aurora to get distracted.
"Why must I kill him in nine days?" Aurora suddenly asked as she stared at her teacher.
"It will be perfect that you do so. You must kill him when the moon is shining bright. He will be at his weakest point," the seer replied. "What matters most is the timing. If your miss the right timing then you won't be able to kill him ever again because then you will be at your weakest point."
"The full moon?" Aurora asked remembering what she was made to learn about the werewolves.
The full moon her teacher was talking about was a very important occasion for the werewolves. According to the stories she read the werewolves all gather for a ritual to offer a sacrifice to the moon goddess at this time.
She never knew her teacher choose their celebration period to kill the king of the werewolves, the greatest alpha.
Realizing the whole reason behind it, she also realized that a lot of werewolves will travel far and wide to attend this occasion because the alpha king has always been the one to offer the sacrifice since he became the terror of human.
Alphas from all over the world must be heading to his kingdom for this sacrifice and she was also going there to kill the greatest of all the Alphas.
She was beginning to doubt that her teacher wanted her to kill the Alpha king before she gets killed herself.
"I know what you are thinking but I want you to trust me. That will only be the perfect time for you to kill him. He will be at his weakest on that night. It is the one day the Alpha king is weak. It is the only day in a year that you can get him," her teacher explained to her so she will not be scared.
Aurora nodded in understanding. On every other night, the Alpha is actually strong but this day must be special since he will be weak.
If she could get to him notwithstanding the presence of the many Alphas around for the sacrifice, then, killing him will be a piece of cake.
"I hope it works out well. I heard he took over some other kingdom. He is like a wildfire in summer. He will continue burning down things until he gets to rule the whole world. He wants to make the world fear all supernatural. I fear that when that happens, life will be hard for humans," Darlene murmured in a low voice as she sat down on a cloth she placed on the floor.
"I will kill him because he has to be dead to end all their atrocities. He killed my family. I will do the same to him as many times as I can if that is possible," Aurora said with enough determination to make anyone sure that she was never going to back out. "They took my life from me." she clasped her hand on her knees staring painfully into the fire which seemed to burn brighter when her gaze remained fixed on it.
"Aurora, what do you think about the disguise?" her teacher suddenly asked and succeeded in distracting Aurora. She watched Aurora move her gaze from the fire and gave her a tight smile.
"It is very disguising."
