Chapter 38: Second exam... ( Part 2 )
As our team entered the mountain cave , they were feeling that the temperature was dropping even more as they went on deeper into the cave.
"Whoow, it's pretty cold in here" Fuji said as he shivered a bit from the cold inside the cave.
"Yes , it is Fuji," Yame said as she felt the chills too.
"Yes, it is. So let's increase our pace so that we can feel a bit warm and not die of cold" Aryan said as he rubbed his little hands and blew them with his small and tiny lips.
As they had this little conversation they started to run and explore the cave, but as they roamed around they couldn't find a single team, even Aryan didn't sense anyone around them.
"It's weird, I don't think there is anyone near us," Fuji said as he was surprised, and looked towards Aryan and Yame.
"It's true, I think that everyone is avoiding us, and don't want to fight us" Yame theorized as they went on.
"Well that could be a possibility, but for that to happen they would need to have a sensory range bigger than mine, chances of that happening is already low as I am pretty confident in my sensing ability, but for multiple teams to have them and staying away from us doesn't add up, so I think there is only one possibility" Aryan took a pose for a moment and stopped before saying anything eles , as Yame and Fuji stopped as well.
"You don't mean that?" Fuji asked as he swallowed a gulp of his own saliva.
"Yes, Fuji, it probably means that the examiner took us to the wrong entrance," Yame said as she looked at Fuji.
"Not only that, but there could also be a possibility where he could have given us the wrong information about the time and the place where we have to go." Aryan retorted to Yame and Fuje as he closed his fists tightly.
"Calm down, buddy don't overthink it, let's just focus on finding someone or finding a way to get the other scroll" Fuji said in a pleasing way to calm Aryan down.
After hearing what Fuji said Aryan took a deep breath and "thaaampppppp" A loud sound rommed inside the cave like lightning in the cloudy sky. Aryan just slapped himself on both of his cheeks ( face cheeks you degenerates) at the same time to concentrate and make sure that he doesn't behave like this again in this exam.
"Wow Aryan , you really went all out with that slap, I can see the redness on your cheeks, they might even turn blue because of this cold" Fuji joked as he pointed about Aryan action, instead of appreciating it like he thought they would.
"What really?" Aryan said as he instantly regretted his decision of going all out with the slap, as it really hurts now. As the crew had a lighter mood now that they had had a laugh they went on to explore the cave even further.
After running around and exploring for thirty minutes Fuji saw something and informed Aryan and Yame right away. As the team saw some marks on the wall and besides it there was a text written.
"What the hell! How is this even possible?" Fuji said in surprise and awe at the same time.
"It's difficult but it's not impossible Fuji-senpai '' Aryan said as he assured Fuji as he pattes his shoulder because Fujj was sitting down from exhaustion.
( ok, I was thinking of how will this happen Aryan a Kid 5 years old not even 4 feet and Fuji a guy taller than 6 feet, getting his shoulder pat from him 🤣🤣. So I had to add the last part)
At the time when the second exam started Yasobi and her team.
"Well now that we have 24 hours to find a summer scroll , where should we start from?" Pod asked Riku as Riku was holding the winter scroll.
"Well first before fighting anyone let's look into finding the second way to obtain the scroll if we think it's harder to do that, then we will find other shinobi and ambush them" Riku said as he put the scroll into his bag and and the three of them started exploring the cave and for half and hour they didn't find anything .
"What's going onnnnn... '' As soon as Yasobi said something she felt something behind as soon as she saw behind them, six shinobi were running right at them.
"RUNNNNNNNNN... Nowwwww '' Yasobi shouted in desperation and with extreme concern.
Without thinking and trusting their teammate Riku and Pod run as soon as they hear her.
"Water style, sludge wave" Daiko used the jutsu to slow them down.
( The team chasing them are the same as the ones that were in few chapters ago named chase , so now as I love you guys and don't want you to go back and look , so here are the summary of their characters)
( Diako :- A busty muscular, pale girl with black hair and Hazel eyes, she is 5 '7 and can use water style and six of them can use water style .
Osore :- An obedient guy, who is always listening to his teammates, but he has a second side too.
Kiyaki :- white hair, lime eyes and small lips not the size of an adult but not a child too.
Hara:- A muscular angry guy who is always angry.
Itami :- A Mysterious girl with split bangs and black hair that covers her eyes
Bo:- A normal guy with nothing special going on for him.
Ok now that we are done with the characters let's continue with the story)
As Daiko used the sludge wave jutsu a poisonous wave of water was coming at them at full speed.
"Look there is a cave we can go there and then yasobi can block it off by using her earth style quick" Riku said as he pointed toward the small cave.
As soon as Yasobi and her team entered the cave she used earth style to block off the cave. Closing that cave as that was the only way to get in and poisonous water still being outside they were safe for the moment but not for the exam, they started running away from them to gain as much distance as possible.
"Oh shit, they ran away from us again" Daiko said as she snapped her finger.
"Well done you ugly bi**h, now we can't even chase them" Hara said as he Walked towards Daiko.
"Call me ugly bitch again, and it will be your corpse that will fall on the ground," Daiko said as she didn't back down.
As soon as Hara was about to take charge at Daiko, Bo stepped in and said.
"We can't fight each other right now, we need to kill them," Bo said as he looked into Daiko and Hara.
"Ok." Both of them backed down without even a thought and stayed quiet.
"It will take almost half an hour for the poison to clean out so that we can follow them without wasting our antidotes." Daiko informed as she sat on the ground.
"Won't it be faster to go in the cave besides it and see if it connects?" Itami said as she asked Kiyaki .
"No, it's not faster we can end up way further than them because these caves operate in a very unique way, it's best for us to follow them." Kiyaki explained it to Itami and the others as they waited for the time to run out.
As the case was going on both the team were running, but because Yasobi's team was more than half and hour in the lead they didn't encounter them, they ran for hours and as the Yasobi's team was thinking that they are far from any team them they encountered Aryan's team as they suddenly saw them they were exhausted and they saw Aryan holding the summer scroll they were on the guard and were in the fighting position.
"Well isn't it Yasobi's team, Aryan said as he got up, and it looks like you have something we want '' He said as he pointed toward the winter scroll in Riku's bag.....
