James led Liza and Chris towards the mountains nearby. The speed of his wasn't that low but he felt Liza was taking it slowly here. And his hunch was right.
Liza could speed up and pass past him. However she didn't know where this wolf was leading her towards. She also didn't set her mind about him, was he a friend or a foe.
Behind them the epsilon roars kept ranging from far. The distance seemed to grow wider, but that didn't make James nor Chris relieved.
They both knew how brutal and cruel epsilons were. However James wasn't that worried. After all he got his own epsilon waiting for them at their destination.
'Stay put,' James said to his epsilon though his mind link, 'we got an epsilon hunting me down.'
'Don't worry, master,' the epsilon didn't seem worried, 'I can sense him and he isn't a match for me.'
