The atmosphere got suddenly tense while Anna fixed her eyes upon him. All of sudden he laughed before saying:
"It's a good feature to save photos just in case..."
"Someone like me broke it, right?" she crossed her arms before demanding in an arrogant tone, "where is the photo you took?"
"There," Ji Hoon pointed to the sky before adding, "it's in the clouds."
"You seem very funny, do you want me to call my guards and teach you a lesson?"
Her words seemed light, however Ji Hoon knew for sure she wasn't joking.
"I'm telling the truth," he said while turning to the owner of the shop before pointing at him, "ask him if you don't believe me."
The owner's face instantly changed as he looked in blame towards Ji Hoon. However the look the latter gave the owner was just like saying: It serves you justice!
"Oh... About that..." the owner stuttered while moving his eyes between Anna and Ji Hoon.
And Anna simply nodded to him to continue what he was going to say.
"My gears are connected to satellites to save photos inside a virtual storage space called clouds," he said, "but only the owner has access to it, not me."
Anna didn't speak while Ji Hoon wanted to punch this owner in the face. He didn't stop at just telling Anna about the satellite device, but also he forced his hand here.
"Snap!" Anna simply snapped her fingers before a guard approached. "Bring my laptop from the car," she said without moving her eyes away from Ji Hoon.
She even held her sun glasses and put one of its slender arms inside her mouth while biting slowly over it. Ji Hoon didn't know why but at this moment he felt like he was eyed by a predator.
And he... was simply the prey.
"Do it now," Anna stood on his side while watching the page Ji Hoon opened.
"Look away please," Ji Hoon said before adding when he noticed the weird look of Anna, "the password is secret."
"Even to me?" Anna pointed towards herself in a playful way while her face showed a bright smile. For some unexplained reason she seemed to enjoy this moment with him.
And he could only stare at her without moving a finger.
"Alright, I'm not looking," she raised both hands like playing with him before covering her eyes with them. Ji Hoon knew she would peek over him, and so he typed the password fast without even looking away from her face.
"Oh, you typed it so fast! That's unfair!" Anna crumpled like a child losing a toy or missing a game she loved.
"I told you it's a secret," Ji Hoon returned to the laptop before he found the latest photo taken by him and simply opened it. "Don't make a fuss over nothing," he deleted it before instantly signing out and went all the way to delete even the registry off the laptop.
However at this brief moment, Anna seemed to see something familiar. It was like her block, like it was a photo taken from far away.
"What was that?" she pointed towards the screen before Ji Hoon closed the laptop and stood up.
"Sorry?" he faked his ignorance, "I just deleted your pic. Aren't you satisfied?"
She looked at him before exhaling while blowing a few strands of her away from her forehead.
"You are no fun at all," she said before she took the laptop by herself and turned to leave. "Grab whatever you need. Everything is on my account, alright?"
She looked at the owner who simply bowed and said nothing. He already was so stressed out to have such a VIP in his shop.
Ji Hoon didn't feel easy about this. And he was right in his worry. Anna went inside her car before she put the laptop inside a black suitcase before pointing towards one of the guards around.
"Take this and make sure to give it to Arnold in the tech department. Let him work his magic on it, alright?"
The guard bowed in respect before retreating. Ji Hoon took roughly ten minutes before he came out with a long row of guards carrying many gears.
"What does he think we are doing? This isn't war, tsk," she couldn't help but shake her head before she felt more amusement to play this game with this human.
Her feelings from before never grew weaker. She still had this vague impression of meeting him before. And when she saw that hazy image of her block, she knew this human wasn't simple.
She never doubted her instincts, and so she decided to keep him by her side for much longer. As for the laptop, she knew her tech department could break anything.
She watched him oversee the guards while they packed their cars with many suitcases before he took only three small packages and headed towards her direction.
"One way or another, I will see through you," she muttered while watching him ride in the front seat before turning to her.
"I'm ready."
"What did you pick?" she asked while putting the sunglasses back on her face.
"It's a camera with an advanced lense and a strong flash," Ji Hoon said before the driver rode next to him. The driver gave him a hostile look before he started the car and made it move towards their destination.
Ji Hoon was already feeling uneasy despite barely escaping this problem. He felt Anna was up to something, but he was quite sure he already hacked inside her laptop and wiped out everything related to him.
In fact during her focus on him, and the few moments she covered up her eyes, he attached a USB to the laptop.
That USB was called the savior by him. It held inside a deadly virus that would cause total damage to the entire laptop on one condition.
If anyone tried to retrieve any info about his private storage space, that laptop would be considered as good as dead by then.
And yet he still felt uneasy. It might be thanks to his weird experience with her last night.
Every time he looked at her face, he couldn't help but recall the previous night's events. He couldn't still believe he was sitting in the same car with her.
Meeting her for one time was enough to make him feel confused. And now he was seeing her for the second time in less than twenty-four hours.
'Is this... fate?' he couldn't help but think in such a way. After all he wasn't interested in women before, and still he couldn't wipe her face off his mind.
The car roared in the bustling and busy streets of this city. Ji Hoon already knew many shortcuts to avoid this messy situation, but he didn't speak at all.
He remained silent, while feeling the silent gazes of Anna from behind.
She never felt easy with him! Since the first moment and that nagging feeling kept her on her nerves.
However everytime she thought about taking him to a secluded place and torture him for answers, she would recall the laptop.
'I will get my answers soon,' she kept telling herself that before they finally arrived at the theme park.
"Is this... the park you mentioned?" Ji Hoon was speechless when he saw the park they stopped in front of.
It wasn't the grand and very famous park not too far from here. Instead it was an old looking park with no one there.
It was an abandoned theme park that was off the grid for years now.
"Let's go," the driver was the one to speak to him while Anna already went outside the car. She felt amused and quite satisfied from Ji Hoon's reaction.
"You should get your gears ready," she said before her guards entered the place. This scene looked strangely similar to what happened at the shop.
Except this time there was no one here to drive out. The park was already closed and no one would be able to enter it.
But to Ji Hoon's surprise, the closed doors opened in front of Anna like she was the sole queen of this world.
