Chapter 63: Scarlet – Game Time

Sabastian perched on something similar to a throne. It captured the same burnt feel as the room. The light blue and pink flames with specks of gold blazed bright, reaching high over Sabastian's head. He did not seem to mind the heat since he sat in that fire. It complemented his skin. A real beauty. A God. I did not know about that. Fear was the first emotion that pricked my skin. Nothing of comfort. People praised Gods, not fear them.

His chin rested in his palm. "What are you doing here?"

I glanced around the room. "Where is here?"

I could see Sabastian enjoying this place. There was nothing to destroy. Everything was already destroyed but still had a creative feel.

Sabastian stretched out his legs. "This is kind of an illusion or whatnot. A replica of my realm. It's all in my head."

"All in your head? Then, how am I here?"

"I would ask you the same question."
