"This Glorfindel sounds nice."

On top of the Pyramids of Giza, the biggest one to be precise, Diana and Edward were laying down, and Edward was telling Diana about his time in Ea.

"Yes, he is. I did make him an armor somewhat similar to mine, not with the same defensive capabilities but with a transforming rune onto it." Edward replied, a smile on his face.

Lightly stroking the back of her hand, he added, "You know, I remember Eru saying that I would be going alone for the first mission, but as I make more missions our two universes will merge, so maybe you could come with me for the next mission, whenever that is. You would get to meet the friends I made there."

"And visit the world of Lord of the Rings."

Edward smiled at her comment and nodded, "That too, although I think I must have changed a few things in there. I read Tolkien's works when I came back-"

"You mean you copied and pasted them into your mind." Diana teased.

"Still reading, kinda. But as I was saying I read them, and this was actually another story, The Hobbit it was called. It happened 60 years before the events of the movies, and I changed quite a few things, Thorin, Kili and Fili were supposed to die, and Sauron wasn't supposed to get injured. So I changed a lot."

Diana snuggled herself against Edward and said, "Well, we will see by the time you get the next mission."

They stayed silent for a moment as they enjoyed the great landscape, and Diana asked after a moment, "Are you prepared for the Un Assembly? It's going to be very important, and you may have to unveil your true identity. This will change your life. Our lives."

Edward replied, "I have more than three weeks to prepare, which is more than enough. And it doesn't really matter whether I show my true identity or not anymore, I have no reason to do so."

"What about your parents?"

Edward laughed, "I have the means to protect them, and if anyone tries to hurt them they are going to be in a world of pain. I have a plan for that."

"Good… It's time to go isn't it?"

Edward nodded at her question, and got up from his seat with a heavy sigh as he opened a portal. Diana looked at Edward in surprise and asked, "You can open a portal straight to Themyscira?"

Edward shook his head and replied, "No, I can't bypass the protection of the gods… yet."

They both stepped into the portal, and Diana found the water below them to be solid. She sent an inquiring look at Edward, who grinned and waved his arms. As he did so, the solid water below them turned into a giant watery turtle that sped toward the island.

Diana looked at Edward in surprise, who explained, "I'm a terrific magician."

She looked down at the turtle and asked, "Can it fight?"

Edward scratched his head, and replied, "No, it's a much higher level of magic, giving my constructs conscience. It's already quite hard to give them a good form, I can only give them a simple command for now. But in the future, maybe I'll be able to do it."

Diana kissed his cheek and reassured him, "It's great already. We aren't even wet."

"Am I that worthless?" Edward looked down in disappointment.

"Shut up!" Diana laughed at the joke.

Although they were in the middle of the pacific ocean, Edward knew where the island was, and had teleported near it. Before long, they passed through the barrier, and arrived at the deserted beach.

Diana turned to look at Edward and asked, "Why don't you enter by the port?"

Edward shrugged and replied, "I didn't know about the port. Also, when we go there, your sisters may not welcome me with opened arms."

Diana showed a toothy smile as she reassured him, "I'm sure it will be fine."

Just as she said that, Edward suddenly grabbed an arrow that was coming for his face, and yelled toward the forest, "I come in peace!"

He sent a glare at Diana, but only saw her smiling even more widely. He rolled his eyes at her as he threw the arrow to the ground, and watched as the Amazons walked out of the forest.

Leading them was not their queen, but an Amazon Edward felt was as strong as her. Diana, as she saw her, exclaimed in happiness, "Antiope!"

"Oh Diana…" The two women hugged as the surrounding Amazons smiled softly, but their smiles were quickly wiped away as they looked at Edward. They clearly wanted to beat him up.

Edward wasn't one to passively take offence, but this was his girlfriend's people, and basically her family, so he remained quiet. His passive Royal Will, or Royal Aura, should be annoying enough to deal with.

Imagine seeing someone you hated and constantly getting thoughts of how majestic they are, how terrible it must be in their heads.

Smirking at his evilness, Edward approached the Amazon leader and Diana presented, "Edward, this is my aunt, General Antiope. She taught me everything I know about combat."

She turned to Antiope, and signalled with her eyes to be nice. Antiope didn't care in the slightest though and looked at Edward with a defiant look as she provoked, "You beat up quite a few of our sisters when you first came. I would be glad to return the favour."

It was Edward's turn to be warned, but just like her aunt he ignored her and grinned as he replied, "I don't see why not. Why don't you take a few more with you, to make this fair?"

The surrounding amazons looked ready to go for his blood, but Antiope was much calmer as she led them through the forest. Before long they arrived in the arena of the city, which looked quite similar to the coliseum.

Much to Edward's surprise, there were thousands of Amazons already sitting in the stands, and couldn't help but marvel at their speed. They had barely arrived and yet they all had the time to get in place.

Diana was separated from them as she went to join her mother, and as only Antiope and Edward were left in the arena, he saw her and her mother, Queen Hippolyte, arrive in the stands too.

Looking back at Antiope, her sword was already drawn out, and her shield was held on her forearm. Edward smiled, she had no chance against him.

The fight begun, and just as he expected, Antiope was far too weak to match him. She was a great fighter, a very skilled one, but not only was Edward skilled himself, he could even predict her every action with his Chi Sense, and if he wanted to he could move so fast she wouldn't be able to react.

Still, it was interesting to see what was the best the amazons had to offer. Her physical strength wasn't much compared to him, but that stood for the majority of people anyway.

Edward found that while he understood more and more about Spear Concept, although his manipulation of the spear got better and better as he gained certain abilities, it wasn't all in combat.

Antiope didn't have access to the powers of any of the Concepts, but she was still a formidable fighter with an incredible battle sense, forged over more than a thousand years of battles.

Well, only Edward enjoyed the fight, as the amazons looked disappointed. With what Edward had shown when he was here for the last time, they felt Antiope could have easily defeated him, but somehow he became much stronger, easily crushing Antiope.

Although disappointed, now that Edward had defeated their general there wasn't much more they could say against his presence here, they couldn't force him to leave and he had proven his worth already.

Before long, Edward was with Diana and Queen Hippolyta in the latter's quarters, and the Queen was sad, "Why don't you stay here? You know that if you leave…"

Diana took her mother's hands with a smile and said, "My life is no longer here, it is in the world of men, with him."

Hippolyta looked at Edward with a frown, but then sighed and relented, "At least he isn't a weak coward."

Diana smiled while Edward inwardly lamented at his mother in law, and it only got worse when he thought of his father in law. Edward wouldn't mind never meeting him…

"I will still be able to come back anyway, it's not like last time." Diana nailed the last nail into the coffin as Hippolyta finally nodded.

The curse she was talking about affected all those who set foot on the island, as they would forget the position of the island when they left it. One needed to follow precise steps to avoid this effect, ones that wouldn't work for a long term leave from the island.

Hippolyta released a quiet sigh before looking at Edward, and said, "You did go in the end, and even succeeded. Do you want anything from us?"

Edward was quite surprised at her change of attitude, and after a moment asked, "Your weapons and armors, they are quite well made. Would you mind showing me your craft? Books perhaps?"

Hippolyta shook her head, and Diana replied herself, "Everything the Amazons have were made by Hephaestus. We can go see him if you want."

Edward raised an eyebrow at that, and said after a few seconds, "I doubt a single guy would write books if he doesn't have anyone to pass his knowledge to. Since I already have a lot of theoretical knowledge from the elves, dwarves and men, I will perfect this with a few more before heading to Hephaestus and possibly watch his craft and get some actual training."

With his theoretical knowledge, Edward could already forge simple things, but he wanted to create his own forging process through the merging of different techniques of different worlds, so he would need more knowledge and more practice.

He didn't have much to do until the UN Assembly anyway, this would be a great pass time.

Hippolyta hugged her daughter one last time before giving Edward an indifferent look as she said, "Don't get killed, or Diana wouldn't be able to come back."

Edward smiled and opened a portal, and replied as he walked through it, "Don't worry mother in law, I'm a tough guy."

Edward could feel her fuming inside, and was ready to yell something at him, but he had already crossed the portal, making everything so much better.

Diana, who followed after him, only rolled her eyes at him before gesturing her head at the bedroom.

Understanding the call for his most primal duty as a human male, Edward elegantly strode toward their bedroom, his Yang Chi building up quickly.

CREATORS' THOUGHTS

What you did yesterday was incredible, I mean I was barely in the Top 20 I think and you pulled me up to 3rd place, you did an incredible job, and thank you for that. I hope you will be able to replicate this feat today, so that even if we don't gain any places, we don't fall from 3rd place.

Again, thanks guys.
