Chapter 323: Solitude

The people turned their heads at the stairs.

"Oh. This guy."

"Who is he?"

"But… he is just a normal Vampire. Right?"

"It's just a matter of time. I think."

The people saw Michael and some recognised him and some did not.

"Michael," Dreamer said. "Come here."

Michael bowed and descended from the stairs.

He came and stood beside Dreamer.

"As I told you, his name is Michael Jackson. A fine Vampire. He will be the next Progenitor." Dreamer revealed.

One hand raised up.

"Yes?" Dreamer gave permission.

A Vampire wearing black shades, stood up. "A Progenitor needs to be strong. We can't work under a weak leader. Because if that happens there is a chance of civil war."

The Vampire sat down again. He put up a fair point though. If the Vampires under the Progenitor found that their leader was weaker than them, they would try to take the throne themselves. An internal fight as a result.
