Chapter 74: Return 74

We were walking back and I saw Lucien deep in thought. I felt like an intruder for being in here. But I also felt relieved that they had left already. I shuddered the possibility of discovering them there. I wanted to know what was he up to. So I followed him. I was feeling like a spy for walking behind him and gathering information. The difference is that I have assumed that role myself with no pressure from outside. With Amir being long gone. I knew I was alone in this. But I would try to get information till I get captured in the act.

"Are you busy?", he asked me.

"No I'm not", I answered him.

"Care to join me in a meeting?", he asked me.

"Why not? ", I said to him. He sighed and we both walked.

Once I reached the court I knew this wasn't the court I had seen earlier. The decorations and lights were long gone. Now it felt like a court than a dance bar.
