Chapter 20: Chapter 20

The first customer came back with a few friends, selling another three of the rings. Another few customers came in, buying a few swords, spears, and another two of his rings. He now had more than twenty silver but it still wasn't quite enough to buy a second bar, so he kept on cultivating the one he had already bought.

The next two days went smoothly, selling a total of 22 more rings, having another 13 on the shelf collecting another 102 slime cores and 15 slime shards. This left him with all the materials for his next big craft as well as 46 silver and 80 copper and another level up.

[Crafting Haste]

Increase crafting speed by 20%

[Item Skill Transfer]

Transfers a skill from one item to another. Requires an open gem of the same type and equal or greater size.

[Random Blueprint](Gatcha)

Grants a random blueprint the user can craft. (Peak Common Or Above)

He picked up item skill transfer as it would be extremely useful in crafting custom gear for his teammates and himself. Random blueprint had a good chance of being too expensive to craft or just not useful to him, so he had to pass on it for now.

"Thank you everyone for participating, the next two days you may all form your groups. When you have formed them you can report to the main hall and pick a room to dorm in, hopefully for the next six year. Anyone who can't find a group will be assigned randomly."

One of the older students said before everyone began to form groups based on who they already knew and where contacting. Jake was fortunate enough for the necromancer, dark priestess, and shapeshifter to agree to join in on his group. They also had requested to bring people along, making the group ten. They registered into a room set, but weren't able to get Jake's original room so they were where the shapeshifter was living.

He dropped off his stuff into his room and moved to the common space with everyone else. One of the people stood up, starting the introductions.

"Hello everyone, my name is Ray, i'm level 4 and a level 3 water mage"

Ray was not just a water mage, but had gray skin patches that resembled a shark on top of his regular blue skin. This may have been related to his race, or maybe just his passive but Jake was more focused on how he got his level so high already. Ray sat down and the next one stood up.

"My name is Shia, I am level 5 and before you ask, i'm a pureblood yuan-ti. My class is marksmen but I'm a god betrayer so I don't get along with others like me."

Yuan-ti were pretty rare, especially purebloods. Most purebloods were killed or sacrificed at birth because they were seen as inferior. Yuan-ti worshiped their god to become more snakelike, so betraying it was a cut off from everyone. She was trying to say it in a joking way. A perky girl got up next.

"My name is Jaylen, I'm an elven black mage. Levels 3 and 2, and I was supposed to be a healer of some kind, but then I accidentally healed someone who was dead and I became a necromancer instead."

She was quite happy for someone who had their role switched, but it would definitely work in their favor. Jake stood up next.

"Im Jake, and im level two in race and fire mage."

He quickly sat down, as he didn't want people to know he was a crafter until he could pick up a new class after level 15 Jeweler.

"Im Rebeca, and im level 3 and a level 6 dark cleric. Just a note I worship the god of sacrifice, so if my arm or leg goes missing just dont worry about it."

Rebeca was the first fully looking human he had talked to since he got to school, and she was absolutely gorgeous. She had a dark mysterious look, but she definitely had not sacrificed beauty to the dark gods.

"Yi Wenshu is my name, and I'm level 4 in shadow mage class."

He gave a light nod with his insectoid body. The rest of the people introduced themselves just as the last of them had. This included the brothers Yin, Jeremy, Jax and Criss. This left them with 3 mages, a summoner, an assassin, a tank, a marksman, a warrior, and 2 miscellaneous. It was a pretty balanced team, outside of how many mages they had. Each of the mages had vastly different styles, so it didn't matter too much but they would be screwed in a mana free area. Jake was really happy to finally have friends that he would probably have for a long time. On top of that everyone there was either very strong or had amazing potential, so they didn't have to worry about dropping out.

"Thank you everyone, I look forward to fighting with all of you; And I hope to be friends with all of you."

Everyone raised a glass to Jake's words. Everyone laughed, joked, and got to know each other that night. They knew they would need to rest up for classes the next day, so going to bed at 10 was common. Jake didn't have the luxury to get a good night's sleep though. He entered his training dimension where he had left all of the materials for his newest craft. He didn't want to start making it without knowing what he was doing.
