He and his grandfather pretty much buy the FL for 200 million from her sc*m father. They drugged her and brought her to their house as ML's new wife. This behavior just ticked me off. The only good thing is that the FL is resilient and adapts fast, so she managed to make a deal with the ML to gain her freedom. The ML is sick and in a wheelchair and FL knows the doctor he needs. ✨Also, the 'marriage' happened because their stars match and the grandpa believed if they marry the FL would help heal him 🥲. Not really sure about ML's personality that much though as he hasn't been shown a lot so far. 📝 It's okay so far. Not outstanding, but the FL has good points. The story just didn't engage me that much so 2.5 stars ⭐️.

The synopsis Characters do not match the actual translation. Again, I don’t understand The translator’s reasoning in changing the characters Names, worse in Western names. It’s Very awkward To read it. Worse, the translator Can’t Keep up with it. Like Roman for Lu Min. Lauren? What’s Her last name? Lu Lauren? But the synopsis Said she’s Yu Qin. Truly ridiculous!🤬😤 The plot is fast paced and there are plot holes Here and there. I might have skipped the part but I don’t Understand How the FL knew she’s A substitute wife, blood and bone marrow donor from the get-go. At that point, nobody told her nor asked for it. Also, she was kidnapped before she could even step into the Lu Mansion and speak with the Lu Family aside from Lu Min who didn’t Say anything. The characters are too brutal and ruthless which is kind of fun to read as they, FL & ML fight against each other.😈. This is the perk. Anyways, read at your own risk.😈😈😈

The characters are too brutal for a romantic like me. That’s what makes it unique. Supposedly! But, unfortunately, for a top calibre Assassin, it is truly a no-no that Lauren acts like a pushover. Occupying someone else’s body is not a reason enough to let others hurt and play with your feelings. And the story is still in limbo after 40 chapters.

This is based on 40 chapters & contains vague spoilers. The synopsis doesn't give you a clear picture of the actual story, as the character's name is actually Lauren who is an assassin who transmigrated. Of course, she is able to keep those abilities & use her force against those who are trying to physically harm her. It's just funny that somehow she isn't able to fight against ML who is sickly & in a wheelchair - like he detains her by force & pulls out a gun on her & suddenly she has no skills/power to defeat him? I'm really not too fond of him either as him & his grandfather worked with her parents to buy her (& drug her though I don't think ML knew about that initially) into marriage. Its not as if ML did that because he likes her but rather because their signs are compatible or whatever & then afterwards he just wants to force her by his side because of pride. So, I don't care about the "romance" aspect of it but rather about the mystery of who killed the assassin FL & who is trying to harm the original FL's grandmother.
