Chapter 44: The first floor of the laboratory
Milena looked in that place where there was a weapon or ammunition, but did not find anything, so she simply opened the metal door by pressing a button.
When this happened, the doors began to open and Milena could see a corridor that was illuminated with a white light.
The walls were stained with blood and bullet holes, but there seemed to be nothing for which she decided to enter.
As she walked down the white corridor, she could see some automatic doors that were closed, so she just ignored them.
She walked until she came to a kind of dining room, where there was a huge mess, because plates of food were thrown and there were traces of food and blood everywhere.
Somehow Milena had doubts if the incident had occurred when the white phosphorous bombs fell or if it had happened much earlier.
She continued on her way until, when she was in the middle of the corridor she could hear the sounds of footsteps coming from the main entrance of the dining room.
Milena aimed her shotgun and then the door was thrown open as three werewolves entered with the body in bad condition. Even one of them could see his skull.
When they saw Milena, they ran where she was, so Milena turned her feet into her werewolf version and started running towards them.
When the first werewolf was close to her, she fired her shotgun right in the area of the werewolf's heart, so he fell to the ground lifeless.
Milena then kicked another werewolf and sent him flying towards one of the walls of the dining room where he made a hole in the concrete as it had been thrown with substantial force.
The last werewolf was launched on Milena, so she ducked and dodged the attack of the werewolf who passed over her.
At that moment, she shot the werewolf's chest, killing him instantly, so his corpse ended up crashing on the dining room tables.
Milena then got up from the ground and looked at the werewolf who had kicked who was shaking because he had a broken spine.
So he couldn't move. Milena ended his agony by shooting him in the back with the shotgun.
After this, she went the way where the zombie werewolves had left. For this, she began to walk, ignoring the glasses on the ground.
When she left the dining room, she realized that she had entered a kind of main room where there was an illuminated map of the facilities.
When she looked at it closely, she noticed that there was a trace of blood on the map, so she simply ignored it, paying more attention to the map.
To begin, she realized that the laboratory was divided into four floors. The first was the living area for researchers and workers.
The second floor was the non-hazardous materials processing area.
As for the third floor, it was the biological research and experimentation area.
Last was the fourth floor, which was the hazardous materials storage area.
'This is going to make a real problem, because it will be quite difficult to be able to travel the four floors of this damned place but everything is so that my father suffers.
That stupid goddess won't be able to threaten me when there's a war going on, not to mention that killing my father will be easier. '
When Milena finished reviewing the map, she only sighed and suddenly broke the glass to be able to take out the map because she did not think she could remember it completely after seeing it only once.
When she took it out of the broken glass, she started her way to the left because it was the one that would take her to the elevator to go down to the second floor.
The only problem is that he would have to go through the employees' rooms, so she prepared himself to be able to advance in the face of any kind of threat, for this she first went to a small surveillance post that was placed before entering the zone of rooms.
As Milena advanced, she only looked with some curiosity at the destruction of the place, which seemed to be a real cemetery since there was no kind of noise in the place.
The only thing that could be heard apart from Milena's footsteps was the uncomfortable noise of the lamps, but despite that Milena kept advancing until she reached the door of the lookout post.
When she opened it, she could see a weapons store that was open, however there was still a large quantity of arms and ammunition.
Among the weapons she could see, she found an AA-12 automatic shotgun with a drum magazine, so a smile formed on her face.
"Finally, a decent gun in this damn place, 32 shotgun rounds in this beauty.
There will be if those sons of bitches dare to tease me with this beauty, certainly a quality product made to kill. "
Milena took the AA-12 automatic shotgun and after putting on a tactical belt and a vest, she armed herself with cylinder and normal cartridges to be able to reload the weapon.
When she was ready, she left that guard post and went into the residential area; the path was simple, she just had to walk in a straight line.
The problem is that in front of her there were hundreds of zombies which, upon feeling her presence, began to advance towards her.
Milena smiled and started firing shotgun bullets without stopping. When the magazine ran out of bullets, she threw it to the ground and put a new one.
Repeating the same process, she created a path between the zombies, which fell to the ground completely dead.
Well, every shot from Milena was a dead zombie. In a short time, the ground was full of blood and steam as the zombies turned to ashes.
Despite this, Milena managed to walk through the blood among the great horde of zombies who died without being able to defend themselves or even get close to Milena.
Milena who was shooting completely ignored the blood that covered her body only from time to time she checked if the tablet's camera was clean.
Well, she had to record all the information about what was happening around her.
After a while, she reached the elevator area, so he pressed the button and turned around to continue shooting because the zombies seemed to be endless.
When the elevator door opened, she stepped inside and closed the doors as she sat on the floor to rest.
In order to feel better, she took off her gas mask and took out a cigarette, as she needed to smoke a little.
