Chapter 68: Saving Dara (3)

Marcus and Bran brought Reina to find the king. Everything was taking a different turn from the way that the day was supposed to go.

They had raced to find Dara only to be found with a problem far worse than what they had anticipated. 

The black most from the cursed urn had gotten the Queen and king to fall unconscious.

Reina and Morpheus laid asleep next to each other on the ground. Their chests were moving up and down in slow motion giving Marcus and Bran some assurance that they were still alive. 

"What has happened to them. Are they gone?" Marcus inquired. 

He stood frozen to the ground with tears trickling down his cheeks. It was a matter of fighting. 

"Not yet, but if we don't get the black most out of him. They will be," the witch said. 

Marcus turned his head to the trees hearing approaching footsteps.
