Chapter 62: The bond

Marcus raced in the palace.  He was going out to find the queen mother to ask her what had happened in the night. The last thing that made sense was the drink he had, after which he did things that didn't make sense. 

He needed answers and since she was the one who summoned him at the garden and him do the things that he did, he figured that the woman must know why he got Bran married. 

The cursed night had ended but it's troubles had only began. He had not just broken the king but he angered the vampire queen. 

Reina's anger terrified him the most. The woman had a witch working for her not to mention a baby that was yet to be born was already doing her bidding. 

She had control of the king while he was unlucky to have the king glance at him with a look of death. The man still wanted to kill him.

"Uh..." He bumped into someone at the corner and held them before they fell down.
